sounded very Princess Diana-ish to me... how often has that comparison been brought up related to Kate?

I've got a lot of questions about this whole thing ... mostly rhetorical, none that will have a clear answer .. but a couple of things don't make sense to me after reading this article. Since it's not even 10am, I'm sure there will be more information out by the end of the day. LOL

this situation is quickly, sprialing out of control someone needs to step in and put these children under protection, while these two idiots for parents can sort this out

Kate should have kept her toosh off the tv with these interviews she is self-inflicting this situation, and then crys victim when convienent she should have been given a ticket for driving like an idiot this is going to end badly, this whole thing I have a feeling

***? Why didn't the POLICE drive her in one of their cars so she wouldn't put others lives at risk driving 95 miles an hour (I'm guessing they just mean 'really fast') with no lights.

Where was she going that she didn't want to be followed and go to such extremes?

I do not think she should get to live full time at the house whether or not Jon is there. It doesn't really work that way.

ETA: If Jon is putting the kids at risk, then she need to file something against him. She can't keep it quiet anymore and only she knows if there is a case or not.

She is going to have to learn to accept that her rules and limitations do not have to be adhered to by Jon. She may go for Organic - he does not. She may limit sausage and bacon - he can give it to them every day if he wants.

That's nuts! This makes me think that she has some sort of house/apartment that she doesn't want the paps to know about, maybe she goes there every time? Either way, that is scary that she would put herself in danger by turning off her headlights.

I don't understand why she left the hotel in the first place. She put herself in danger, she was obviously scared because she called the police, but to turn your headlights out is beyond crazy IMO.

She has a perfectly good house and hour away that is costing a lot of money while it sits empty waiting to be sold. She should be living there when it is not her turn to be with the kids.

Not sure how true this is but one of the comments on Radar said that in a domestic dispute when one is ordered to leave by the cops they must go to a hotel. Something like that.

What gets me is how Radar is encouraging this behavior. She is being followed and feels threatened and now she is putting her life and others at risk. Radar needs to tell their stalkers that they pay to back off.

She probably doesn't want them to know where she stays during her off time.

she wasn't at the Days Inn very long. The story broke around midnight, and this article says Kate was leaving at 4:00am. IMO, this must have been a significant disagreement... if Kate was led to check into a hotel in the first place. (I know that sounds like a simple or stupid thing to say, but I have no doubt they've fought before.) After thinking about this while doing some laundry, the answer to most of the "why" questions will be that Kate was upset about the fight and wasn't thinking clearly. And really, to me, that's the only answer necessary.

A few of the things I'm wondering about that can't be answered with a simple answer, though ..
~ obviously, the big question is what in the world was going on in that house last night?
~ who called Kate to tell her -- the nanny, one of the children (Kate mentioned in the People article that the children have called before to tell her what's going on at home), Jon?
~ were the children in bed?

I'm hoping that this turns out to be a mountain out of a molehill situation. I really am. Even though I'm not a fan of Jon or Kate's... this just sounds so desperate and sad to me. I keep thinking about the children

Wow, y'all have been busy since last night! Now I'm disappointed that I went to bed early when I could've joined in the discussion!

Seriously though, this is plain crazy. I feel for Kate, no mother wants to think of her children being looked after by a waitress/model (who's willing to pose nude) hired by her husband. Geez, Jon you sure know how to push Kate's buttons. That would infuriate me beyond belief if I were Kate. I am very particular about who watches my kids and I can't imagine letting a woman like that be in charge of them. I think the pp was correct...one of the kids probably mentioned the new nanny on the phone that night and Kate was there lickety split. If she'd called Jon, he probably wouldn't have answered (the magic of caller ID). What a horrible scene...Kate screaming at the gate. Although, if that were true where are the pics? Jon has said repeatedly that the paps are camped out in front of his house so how is that none of them captured a pic? I agree, I think this divorce will get quite nasty and earn itself the nastiest of 2009. How sad. Well Regis, I think Kate finally answered your question of whether or not they'll get back together! That would be a 'no' Regis!

and I don't want to sound like I'm defending RadarOnline, because I'm not ... they're not the only paps out there. SplashOnline has photographers there, and I'm sure there are others. And some of this comes as a result of playing the paparazzi game, using them advantageously to the situation one day and then being chased by them the next. Not just Jon and Kate, but celebrities in general. It seems like a horrible cycle to me.

I can only imagine what the kids thought with their mother yelling for him to let her in and their dad not letting her in. (I'm assuming the kids were home...it's hard to keep up here!)

And like someone said...why weren't there pictures of that??? They have pictures of everything else they do at that house. Maybe it's because they were camped out at the Days Inn????

I think I would start watering my lawn, right near the front of the house, where the pap's stand to take their pictures. It would need to be watered often...with a nice sweeping sprinkler.
