Toxic together toxic apart.

I feel nothing bust disgust when I think of Kate. She was a loud mouthed, disrespectful, degrading wife. Her actions, her OCD behavior, her demands and her treatment of Jon - of which she said herself she makes no apologies for - was horrible for those kids to watch. She is now trying to cry wolf and play the innocent victim who meant her vows during the renewal. Her actions after the breakup are going to harm those kids just as much because as much as she might think she's taking the high road - every time she talks about her provate life in public she is crossing a line she should not be crossing.

Jon before was a wuss who should have stood up to his wife, put her in her place and should have demanded she treat him with respect. Now he like a caged animal that has been let free - which I can understand to a point - but when you have 8 kids and live a very public life discretion would be in order right about now. You waited 10 years what's another year or at least a few months?

Fact is IMO those kids were doomed from the day their parents started to see $$ when they looked at them. Unless Jon and Kate start both behaving like responsible parents then those kids are just on a terrifying downward spiral.

Anyone that doesn't realize this interview was a publicity stunt should take the blinders off!!

I don't think anyone posting here needs to 'take the blinders off'. I think we all know that these interviews are being done to get people to watch the show, not just let us know whose side is a better person.

However, we don't all see everything the same..and it has nothing to do with 'blinders'. Some of us have sympathy for Kate, some for Jon, all of us, I believe for the kids. Those of us, who are saying we feel for Kate predictament are not wearing blinders..we are just feeling bad for her, and the kids and their situation.

You may see things differently than we do, but believe me, it's not because we are wearing blinders.

I'd say that article is as accurate as any, LOL. Probably about 50% true.

but I will say .. I watched the opening of the 3rd hour of the Today show. Kathie Lee Gifford is not impressed with Kate at all. That was obvious, at least it was to me ... and considering KLG is someone that has had experience with the tabloids, rumors, and paparazzi, I paid close attention to what she said.

I have to wonder if it was TLC that wanted Kate on the Today Show, or if it was The Today Show that wanted Kate. I'm sure Kate could have her pick of shows, since she's the flavor of the month, but I wonder who initiated the booking?

I wish they would give us other than 'unnamed sources' for both Jon and Kate. Unnamed sources can say anything they wish. It doesn't even have to be true.

I know things don't come off right in the printed word, so please know I don't mean this as an attack on you..however, I am surprised that it was your name on this post. That said LOL:

And you know that based on what two friends have told you in the past and the one that said she stopped in target for photo's and was pleasant?? Did they say when Kate left the church she was swearing?

I just don't get why you would say it's about 50% true. Up until know, you have based your answers on facts.

Since I can't personally stand KLG, I turned her off so I can't comment on her at all.

Back to the ummm's. My husband's company has a class to help you stop using those filler words.

My daughter used to use the word Well before she said anything. Well, I went here and well blah blah well. Drove us crazy. So what we started doing is every time she used the word well we all said repeated it. Pretty funny when you are at the dinner table and 3 other people are saying Well, Well, Well, Well every time you speak. Took her about a week to get out of the habit.

I am sorry but I can only hear so many bad things about one person and actually see some of it myself on tv to know that it is probably more then 50% true. The women is screwed up and there is no way around it.

I don't think we will see anymore interviews with Kate for awhile. I think she got a run for her money. Same old answers time after time how she doesn't remember and its private. I do everything for my kids, yadda, yadda, yadda! Get a real job Kate--and broadcasting isn't one of your options.

Doesn't it seem strange both Jon and Kate have both lashed out at Kevin and Jody. Kate was yelling that Jody and Kevin have their own agenda and are now making money off of her family, 'tens of thousands of dollars". And Jon was quoted as saying, Jody and Kevin don't even know where they live.

I think she is a little nuts. From the interviews and all that she just does not seem right and I remember reading on another source that this is not the first time she thought she had a relationship with someone she was interviewing.

I just want to say that since it seems that Jon doesn't have any of the new "OMG can you BELIEVE IT?" news in the tabloids right now, it is only natural for the tabloids to go back and bring up how unpleasant Kate is... she yells, shes rude... yadda yadda yadda. They have the mentality that they cant bash Jon for anything new... so since Kate gave an interview today-- lets run with that!!

Hmm... and lets remember that these people can print virtually anything.

In the article posted earlier about the NBC Staff person saying Kate Gosselin was a total *****.... notice no names were mentioned? A LONG TIME NBC Staff Person wouldnt have went to the news in fear of their job. A LONG TIME NBC staff person would know that by doing so wouldnt be professional and I doubt would make a decision like that.

However, by not mentioning a name-- NBC cant come back and say it isnt true -therefore.. the tabloids can print anything they want? Why... because it sells...

And did anyone notice it was printed by the CHICAGO SUN TIMES? Hello? Chicago? NYC? Not within walking distance my friends. He got this story from another source... and that source probably isnt very trustworthy.

Why so personal? I didn't say that at all. I do have trouble with unnamed people who say positive or negative about Kate of Jon, or anyone else for that matter, be it Micheal Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, or any celebrity. How easy it is to say anything you wish, without a name attached.
I see that even on bulletin boards..people think they are unknown, and even the nicest people in person, if they think they are anonymous, can say hateful things...so why would it be different in a tabloid?

And maybe it's 80% true. The reason I posted it to Madge and not someone else, who may say the same thing, is because Madge has always been very careful to have facts when she posts, not emotions. I didn't say it wasn't true at all..I was surprised that Madge posted what she did, based on how she usually posts.

I just watched the interview Kate did this morning and I had to stop when she started talking about Cara and what the little girl was asking her. What parent goes on national tv and airs their dirty laundry and tells the world how her children are feeling and what they are asking her. I would have been so angry if I was a kid and my parents did that to me. I did go through divorce as a child and yes I have turned out alright(at least I think I am close to it.) but if I heard or saw my parents on tv telling the world what I had asked them I would not only have felt betrayed but embarrassed that everyone would know what I said.
These people are sick. I have said all along that this was a train wreck but I could not turn away, well today I am turning away. That women is sick and now Jon is going to go on tv tonight and talk about his love life. Come on people. They are both just so sick and self absored!!! And now Jon has some chick who quit her job and I think she has issues, mental issues, Why in world is she going on tv and doing interviews.
These poor poor kids. I just hope that they have someone in their lives that they can turn to. At least they have each other becuase they sure as h#$$ don't have parents they can turn to.
Ok I am done now, it is just that interview mad me so so mad. I don't think I have ever been that mad at this situation. Kate is a sick sick women and a selfish women and so is Jon. I just can't seem to stop typing about how much I can't stand them. I am going to try.

I think they use the paps. The paps may find you and stalk you (like at the kids b-day party) but at the same time, I think someone lets them in on what they want them to know.

I think back to when Brittany Spears was going through her mess. We saw her every move--no panties, shaving her head, babies not in car seats, etc. but then, all of a sudden, the paps stop following her. Or Lohen. Or Paris Hilton or whoever. I think it is a type of cat and mouse game. It is all very weird.

Was it Kate that said if they stop doing the show that won't stop the paparazzi? If so, she can't be serious. It's not like she is Britney Spears. Britney will be followed for a very long time, the Gosselins, not so much. Maybe a month or two after the show goes off the air, if that. No show, no story, no tabloids, no paparazzi.

I'm confused... by entourage you mean the bodyguard who is always with her? And another woman? Possibly a publicist or something (who would probably come considering she had an interview that morning). I would hardly call that unpredictable.... I could imagine that the person writing the article would know (just like we all know) that Kate didn't come to the show without a bodyguard and probably a publicist, or someone of the like.

I know you didn't, so I'm saying in general that I wouldnt use the fact that they got it correct that she was travelling with people to mean that the article is true... or makes it more creditable.
