I agree. Tlc could have easily arranged for kate and the kids to go through a private entrance straight from a van. And Jon and Hailey at the park. If you believe Jon doesn't like the media coverage he's getting, then I've got a bridge to sell ya.

This is NYC we are talking about. That may be the only entrance to the studio, and if there is more than one entrance, the p people know about it and stake out both.
Many times the service entrance and main entrance are right next to each other.

I have a feeling the people at the studio took it upon themselves to provide the extra security.

I just noticed today that RadarOnline has commercials preceding their video clips of Jon. People are making money like crazy off this thing. wow.

I saw a video of the chaos on Extra last night .. I'm sure the children were frightened. there was a lot of pushing and shoving, shouting, etc. awful.

Once again, its Jon & Kate that put their kids in this setting. If they were so concerned about the paparazzi and photographers scaring the kids, why didn't they shoot at a private location. TLC is looking for ratings--they don't care who they hurt doing it. I was curious why all the protection now--didn't seem like anything when they were walking all over NYC???

Anyone have any idea of where they were shooting? I wonder if it was an actual place (like when they went to the cake place), and it had been arranged to shoot there. I know many of the brownstone's in NYC don't have back entrances..but unless they didn't expect the paps to know where they were going, I would think they could have put up a temporary private entrance.

City Stage studio in Chelsea, according to People magazine.

I wish I could find the video that I saw yesterday -- it gave a good sense of the area and how many people were crowded in a pretty confined space. (at least it looked that way)

I saw Extra last night....it was wild. How AWFUL for those children to have to be subjected to all that craziness.

What was THIS shoot all about...why did they have to trek the kiddos to NYC? I am guessing after yesterday, Kate will insist the kiddos all be filmed in their yard, their house in PA. PERIOD. ITA!

All the while Jon sits on a swing or the slide with his gf...no one is pushing, shoving, shouting over at the swingset. YUP, totally STAGED.

This is just so disturbing.

It was a very quick clip of them all piling into TLC's NYC studios. They had privacy fencing all up, while the paps and security where all clammering around. You could see Kate holding one of the 'tups, as well as another person with her, possibly a friend, holding the hands of some of the kiddos. Very wild scene as the paps basically RUSHED the van that pulled up with the Gosselins.

It may have been ET but I think it was Extra (I watch both).


All the while Jon-boy is sitting on a swing set in a park being calmly photographed by the paps while he swings with the new gf.....as I said before...STAGED.

Kate looked so upset, so disturbed, so angry.....so why would she allow this from TLC. TLC knows that the Gosselins are HUGE right now with the paps....

Keep the children in PA. They did not sign up for this craziness, Jon and Kate might have but the kiddos didn't....

I think the pp meant that Kate will restrict TLC to filming only at their home.

I wonder really how prepared TLC was for this...I mean really the channel doesn't have anyone else this big. Of course, they have had a few months to practice!

That acceptance is crucial to Glassman. "The most important thing is if someone fits in with my family ... This is perfect. It just fits."

And what does she think Gosselin likes most about her? "I'm a huge believer in not controlling someone," says Glassman. "I'll give my opinion but tell him to do what he wants to do. He said, 'I'm just not used to having an option.' I told him life is about options."

Oh pu-leaze! Don't have a puking smilie, but it was the best I could do!

Her parents are pleased with this? She's dating a newly separated but not yet divorced older man with 8 kids, what parent would be 'happy' with that situation? I know I wouldn't, especially if my daughter had been publicly dragged through the mud in the tabloids.

I especially like the little dig at Kate at the end, that passive-aggressive streak of Jon's is rubbing off on Hailey it seems.

how quickly things change .. it wasn't long ago that People was Kate's voice.

I have a feeling that it's going to be a matter of when, not if, Kate speaks. I can't imagine this little gem will sit well with her at all.

Yeah, he's a great catch that gets to make his own decisions all the time with her. Somebody might want to tell her that there are 8 kids to support. Seems like the state might step in and give him some decisions, ones that he doesn't get to make.

oh, I disagree ... I think they're printing it because it sells magazines. period. no other reason at all. Just someone else cashing in, IMO.

If they were truly Kate's (and only Kate's) voice, they wouldn't have run the story at all.

why would the state step in? I'm not familiar with Pennsylvania laws at all.
