What happened to him spending time with his kids when he got back?

I remember seeing the photos of him in the airport, the heart wrenching pictures of him seeing the kids again, and then it seemed like the next day or so he was back in NY.

Maybe I missed the time with the kids because there weren't any photos?

If they kept to their announced schedule, he would have had the kids Fri-Sat-Sun, but he was in St. Tropez last wknd, and Kate had the kids in NYC this wknd, so it looks like the schedule isn't happening at all.

Back to the cute guy in the pictures with Kate -- I think he looks like one of the guys in the scrum with the paparazzi. But he looks older in those pics. Maybe a new bodyguard for Kate?

Hey y'all! Just got back from Disney on Sunday night and haven't had time to check out the DIS (still behind from before I left!). So I saw the pictures on In Touch last night that Jon and Hailey are engaged????? Boy I need to get caught up here before we leave for MI on Sunday! I'm hoping to get Kate's book from the library to read on the way to MI - maybe that will help me better understand things.

I just saw the People article yesterday while waiting to check out at the market and I have a few comments about Hailey.

First, in my opinion, she is very hard looking for such a young girl. I also think she needs some serious eyebrow help.....Someone on another message board calls them "meth" eyebrows......

Did anyone see Inside Edition with Hailey on the pipe? She seems like a hard core party girl, esp in college. However, for a girl who obviously grew up with privilege, she acts and dresses very low rent in my opinion.

Jon seems to be attracted to this kind of women as Deanna seemed to be the same type, educated but living on the edge of another world.

I totally don't get any of the people involved in this train wreck....I am surprised however that TLC hasn't hired a PR team to help clean up the mess this family has caused.

Finally, Jon saying he didn't start dating until the divorce....Hello Jon, you aren't divorced yet, are you? I believe your wife only FILED for divorce, not quite the same as it being completed.

And I have seen other links (can't find them now) that they have only been dating for 1 month, and now Hailey has also rented an apartment in NYC -- gee they moved fast.

I always wondered about the "real" J&K even when the show began. I thought there might be a bit of a wild side. The tatoos (on both Jon and Kate) always made me think there might be a little more going on. Of course, having said this--after my last trip to WDW I think I may be only person under 50 walking around without one. Also, the tatoo=wild is a bit of a stereotype, I know, my DH has one. Additionally, a little bit of a wild side (tatoos, motorcycle riding) is not even close to the behavior Jon is displaying now--did you guys catch Hailey last night on ET smoking from a bong?

I think it proves how their marriage must have been broken for a long time and they were just playing along for the camera. Also that the wedding renewal was an absolute sham to just get a vacation to Hawaii.

Jon certainly didn't need any time to grieve the marriage. Didn't have to mourn at all. Shows me that all the mourning and sadness that the family would split was done some time ago and he was already to start fresh. He was anxiously awaiting the green light (her filing divorce papers) and he put the petal to the metal.

I also think it is sort of funny to see the TLC pictures of Jon before the split and after. He used to look like he was dressed by the costume designer from Leave it to Beaver or Father Knows Best - and now he looks like a street punk wanna be. Funny funny funny. That tells me that he was "acting" the whole family man thing before. He had to because Kate made him.

I've been following this whole mess with Jon & Kate and am guilty of reading tabloids. But, I'm done now. Lookign at the picture of Kate protecting one of the girls made me ashamed of myself for supporting these tabloids and photographers. Kate and Jon are adults and they can deal with photographers how they wish but the poor kids. When it starts scaring them I think we all need to back up a bit and give the kids some room.

Exactly. I think that was Kate's attempt to put things on the right track again. How many times did she say they would be together forever on that episode? Too many. I think she was trying to convince herself of that more than anyone else. Jon was not into it at all.

I agree. Tlc could have easily arranged for kate and the kids to go through a private entrance straight from a van. And Jon and Hailey at the park. If you believe Jon doesn't like the media coverage he's getting, then I've got a bridge to sell ya.
