Is organic peanut butter non-allergic? Something I forgot to ask about the birthday party - when Kate decided that one cake should be enough.. She said it was their favorite - with peanut butter icing.. I was wondering - because she said that she invited the sextuplets entire class to the party - and with every other kid being allergic to peanut butter these days it struck me as an odd choice - unless the bakery used some sort of peanut butter that is non-allergic..

Organic means grown free of chemical insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers and fungicides. Wouldn't have an effect on an allergy I don't think. Yes, there are always kids around me with food allergies now. Thankfully none of my own.

It really isn't black and white. Stop the show or the kids will crash. Keep going and the benefits will outweigh the bad. It's all about gray.

And just because I may not see the difference, it doesn't mean I'm naive. It means I have a different opnion than you do.

There whole lives they are 5. One huge benefit is a good size college fund

Well, I meant whole in reference to the totality of filming, not a period of time. Although, to this point they have been filmed their whole lives. The kids aren't actors playing a part in a show. The show is their life.

How do you know there is money set aside for college?

I also wanted to mention that Jodi & Kevin kept saying that Jon came to them-- Jon came to them--- so they went straight to the media with what Jon said? When Kate is Kevins sister?? And then went to the media with Jons version of what happened.... sounds like some resentment toward Kate.... not Jon.

I don't think they went straight to the media. They said Jon came to them 6 months ago and told them about the contract, Kate cheating, the PI, etc. alledgedly.

I've often wondered why if Jodi is jealous and spiteful, etc as some people claim, why didn't they speak out right away? Other than her sisters blog (yuck!) According to the interview this AM, basically they want "rights" for the children of future reality shows.

My MIL actually asked DH and I to pay her to babysit our DS - yes, her grandson, so you never know. Yes, she's a peach.

Hey I pay my mil to watch my kids, she gets $125 wk. thats cheaper than day care. I would never dream of her babysitting for free.

Maybe before the pictures of Jon, there was no one willing to pay them? But you bring up a good point. If they were so concerned, why didn't they do something 6 months ago..oh, that's right, LOL, there was no one willing to pay them.

Right.. And Kate specifically said (as she was opening one of the cake boxes - the one they served), "We don't need more than one cake, do we? This is our favorite - with peanut butter icing." - and that is the one they cut and served..

I just thought it was an odd choice - with so many kids being allergic to peanut butter these days - schools having to be "peanut-free" zones - etc.. That's why I asked if organic peanut butter is allergy-free - because I remember in the past Kate commenting over and over that her children only eat "organic" - although that's not the case now..

I have to come out and say it I think it's disgusting that Jodi and Kevin are going on media shows. Everytime I see them talking about problems that are not their's I just want to scream at them.

I think the idea is, if you don't "watch" the train wreck, you can't comment on it - even though every channel available has something to say about it; interviews; etc..

Way back in the beginning - when Kate was demanding they be allowed to keep the nurse for the sextuplets longer than the state allowed - she made a comment along the lines of, "I'll scream from the highest mountain to get what is best for my children" (or something similar) - and for those who feel this is not in their children's best interest, I think we pretty much feel the same way..

So - I for one will not be keeping silent on this matter - even though I will no longer watch the show..

I'm a part time J&K watcher.....watched an episode or two over the marathon. Is the lady that gave the kids gum when she was babysitting them, the same person that's giving these interviews now?

DS5 was watching that gum episode w/me and kept saying "why is his mom going to throw his bear away just because there's gum on it"? I can not imagine throwing away one of my kids "lovey" because it has a bit of gum in it. Cut the gum out for goodness sake. I don't think she threw it away in the end though, right?

Kate looked very sad last night.... when Jon got to the party, you could tell she was uncomfortable (as most women would be to see their philandering husband).

Jon looked like he had just come off a bender while on the conversation couch- at one point I even thought he was slurring his words.

I hate to see people all over Kate for her speaking engagements and book signings.... she's a working Mom.... get over it.

You don't think if Kevin & Jodi came out 6 mos ago and said "Jon was here and he thinks Kate is having an affair, I'm hiring a PI, we are seperated etc that someone wouldn't have paid for that?

If they are only in it for the $$ perfect timing would've been around the vow renewal right?
