Kate crafting? Seriously? I thought she was the anti-craft... she's pretty much said as much over the seasons. And designing clothes for Health-tex .. hmmmm.

Kate must not be a spokesperson for Kmart anymore.... and I'll happily add that to the list of reasons I won't support Walmart

And for anyone that thinks that Kate Gosselin has an interest in returning to regular life? Forget. It. Kate will have to lose her popularity (ending up on the dollar bookshelf, etc) before she quits.

Julie (Aunt Jodi's sister) resurfaced on one of the blogs .. until today, she's been quiet through all the recent tabloid mess.

Why aren't people attacking the Roloff's, the new show table for 12, or Steve and Terri Irwin? These families are raising children in the public eye also. I think people just don't want to see a realty show where a family becomes prosperous. We only like them when we can empathize with them, for shame if they do better than us. I think the kids look and act normal.

Steve Irwin DID face a lot of critisism for exposing his kids to dangerous animals. Remember the whole feeding the aligator with one hand with the baby in the other thing? I've also never gotten the sense from the other families that they alienated everyone but the paid crew....which Kate basically outright said in her people interview.

I feel really badly for them, but one of them clearly doesn't want to do this anymore and hasn't for some time. That is at the core of why people are reacting badly to this. There is no way you'd react well...either you think Kate is a harpy and never could stand the show, or you really like it and are annoyed that Jon is getting thrown under the bus on his wishes and have been watching him look more annoyed about it for years. I don't like that he's cheating but I'm not surprised either.

Honestly the entire thing seems really untruthful with their current situation...it's been obvious that their marriage has been not great from their body language for a while but they are off getting their vows renewed and at some point it just seems like everything is a ploy for the camera.

I don't know that it's her 100% ... I followed her blog last year. I choose to believe she is who she says she is.

Did anyone watch Kate on Rachael Ray today?

She didn't really deny the allegations that Jon was cheating. She responded, "It's, you know, it's one of those things that, um, we're just handling privately. We're just taking it one step at a time, just trying to walk through it"

I swear I'm more busy now that I'm off work for the summer than when I was working!

The poster who mentioned the other reality/celebrity families...
I've seen other families criticized, but none of them seem to be as "big" as the Gosselins. They were pretty much an overnight success, whereas the other families have a smaller following and, in my opinion, aren't that interesting to watch. So, more time in the spotlight equals not only more fans, but more critics. There are occasionally detours on this thread about the other TLC families, but I don't know that much about any of them.

I don't know what else to say. It seems like more of the same conversation and "news" the last couple of days. I still admire Kate's organization and think she loves her kids. That's what I've always thought and still do.

For as crazy as this has gotten, I do believe Kate is motivated by her love for her children. Many months ago, I wondered if (and hoped that) Jon & Kate had surrounded themselves with some trusted friends and family. Based on what Kate released today, it doesn't sound like that's the case at all. And that's sad. I pray there is someone sensible, loving, and consistent in the children's lives right now. I hope they're not subjected to this chaos. They certainly didn't ask to be born into this.

The media was on Matt Roloff when the whole drunk driving thing came out. The media was making storied out of the Irwin's as well with Terri and Steve's father not getting along, some times if you keep up on things they will still have them on now and then. The table for 12 family is still very new to the TV scene but thus far have not done anything to attract attention to themselves! Everyone gets their turn. It's just Jon and Kate turn. I agree probably some of it is not true, but they would not be in the news where people can make up things if they weren't doing things to make rumors start, like being in the bar, and leaving with a women at 2 in the morning! Look how long they have been on TV in the public eye and now is the time things are coming out because Jon was out at bars. If that had not happened they would still be on people like Brad and Angelina and all the other superstars out there! Just my thoughts!

I agree. I saw the video where Jodi talks about how painful it's been and how thankful she is for everyone's support. Interesting too is that she confirms that Julie's blog Truth Breeds Hatred is all true. Then she asks her sister Julie to come on camera for a second to say hello. So yes, I do believe it's her.

I don't necessarily agree with the whole airing the laundry in public thing, but I do think she's legit. Until this entry on someone else's blog, she hasn't been heard from in several months. It's not like she's been screaming from the rooftops every week, and I think that might lend to her credibility. Maybe not. I don't know.

I watched the season finale show, where they were looking back at previous episodes, and Amy admitted last nite, that she almost left Matt after the remodeling of the house. If you ever remodeled or built a home, you know exactly what she is talking about. Even though Amy was frustrated as heck, and tired of Matt working during vacation time, she didn't go find herself a "sugar daddy" or went to bars till 2:00 in the morning. She focused on her kids. You can tell Amy is not so mad anymore. At the beginning of this season, she explained a lot of her anger and I think it almost helped her in an odd way.

That was long before the paparazzi became an issue. Now she's worried about losing her only "friend"--someone who is reportedly getting paid $1600/day to be by her side.

The truth: Kate isolated her family last year when she decided to turn her family into a business. She hired a manager/PR and they got to work making everyone believe she is "supermom".

"It leaves us, essentially, alone and friendless. It's terrible."Now this is the truest thing I have ever heard her say. Kate, you are alone and friendless because of your choices. Don't try to blame anyone else for your miserable life!

I said this a year ago and I'll say it again, Kate does not care about what is best for her children. It has always been about what Kate wants! I would think this is becoming more obvious as the truth is being revealed!

I know I read on another board that Amy was also gone a lot of last summer doing speaking engagements and such. There have been rumors of problems in their marriage for a while. One of the rumors has been that Amy doesn't want to keep doing the show, whereas Matt does. Sound familar? I haven't really watched much of the newest season, but you can definitely see a change between her and Matt.

Well, when they keep doing these shows, they keep getting paid a nice amount of money. I mean the Roloff's house has been turned into a "hotel" , Amy and Zach's words, since the show started. As is with every other "show". Jon and Kate moved into a huge home also!

The show nded taping last Oct. I've only heard one statement from the Roloff's all year. Amy and the kids were doing a speaking engagement somewhere, and Amy made the comment, that Jeremy still doesn't have a school picked out, or he doesn't know what he wants to do.
There is no advertising either, if the Roloff's are going to come back for another season. Maybe that is why Amy seemed more relieved in the last couple of episodes.
