The people statement about the bodyguard was interesting. I mean you could really see the frustration and how upset she was about it. You couldn't really see that when she was on the Today show talking about her husbands allegied affair. It was almost like "how could they say that about ME" but when it came to her husband it was "I'm hesitant to believe any of it". If I thought my husband was being wrongfully portrayed I would be disgusted and horrified by that and I would express that for the world to see. She has not done that at all.

And if I knew my marriage was being pulled apart by every media outlet then I would have cancelled my speaking engagments and upset a few fans. So I'm almost leaning towards the fact that they are already seperated. I know there "interviews" in the show have become very cold in the past season. It's almost like a chore to sit on the couch together. They were never really lovey but they weren't cold about it until now.

I do notice on Table for 12 that the hubby puts his arm around his wife when they speak together and they look at each other a lot. And laugh a lot together when they are "interviewing".

Yes, but in Kate's defense she wasn't caught coming out of a bar at 2 a.m. with his security guard calling him "Babe". Unless something happened that I missed. Of course at the rate this story is unfolding (and this thread is moving) it is very possible that I missed it.

Exactly. If you have not cheated and someone started a rumor saying you had, YOU KNOW it is not true. You can defend yourself because you kow for a fact what you have and have not done.

Perhaps she is not sure about jon. Or perhaps she is sure he has. If he is telling her he has not cheated but she is seeing pics of him and hearing these rumors and she was out of town, she's probabloy pretty mixed up about the truth.

Okay I just watched the RR show. I took notice that Kate had two rings on her left hand. A gold/pearl on her middle finger and a long oval ring on her ring finger. Is that her wedding ring?

It sounds like it's not all about Kate..but that the kids are going to help. I love Duff and his show, and I think this will be a very cute show.

I think that it is time that Jon and Her pull the plug on their show. This will affect their kids more than anyone knows. Plus, I think they have made enough money off their children.

I think most of us want the G's to quit the show for the children's sakes.

Why aren't people attacking the Roloff's, the new show table for 12, or Steve and Terri Irwin? These families are raising children in the public eye also. I think people just don't want to see a realty show where a family becomes prosperous. We only like them when we can empathize with them, for shame if they do better than us. I think the kids look and act normal.

I think people just don't want to see a realty show where a family becomes prosperous. We only like them when we can empathize with them, for shame if they do better than us. I find this statement hard to believe. She does know what she can do--stop the show, the speaking engagements, the book signings, etc and stay at home and focus on her kids/marriage--but she doesn't want to. A big difference.

That may be one of the most honest things I have read about this whole mess. What a telling article, on so many levels. Wow.

I wish she'd shown the same amount of emotion and outrage about the things that were said about her husband and their marriage as she did about her bodyguard. Why finally speak out because of an article that finally identified the bodyguard? The rumors about her and him have been circulating for quite some time, but it wasn't till he was identified that she spoke out.

It's sad that their lives have come to this but they wanted and worked hard for this fame and know that they can get out of their contract at any time and return to life as they used to know it --- if they want to. But, Kate made it clear to everyone that she was happy with life as it was at the end of last season and she wasn't changing a thing. You reap what you sow and I guess Kate has gotten a taste of the unpleasant by-product of some of her labors. And sadly, I think the show will still go on.....full speed ahead.

That's 100% correct! She does say that...the camera crew loves them, etc. What about their grandparents? What about their aunts, uncles and cousins? Those are the people that the kids should be receiving love from, not the TLC paid crew..

I'm still holding out hope that there is someone left in their lives (other than the paid TLC crew) who can show them the error of their ways - how much danger is lurking down the road - and convince them to cancel the show and give their children the normalcy and privacy they need and deserve..

Julie (Aunt Jodi's sister) resurfaced on one of the blogs .. until today, she's been quiet through all the recent tabloid mess.

I just thought of one thing -- I guess Charm City does organic cakes?

Even if there was anyone left (which I doubt there is) why would she start to listen now?

I am guessing Jon would be taking the kids to Korea, not Kate. If she really belived he was a philandering dog, why didn't she fly home when the first tabloid report came out. Remember the country singer on Dancing with The Stars a few years ago, I think it was Sara something, there was a report hubby was cheating and she was gone that day.

As for the papazari, even TMZ will tell you if you don't want you picture taken stay out of places like Mr Chows. I am sure someone called and tipped them off about Jon, because he really didn't rate 24 hour watching until lately. Kate wouldn't get caught because I am sure her bodyguard stays in the same hotel as she does, so who is going to know their comings and goings.

I don't know it to be 100% fact, but my guess is the PR people sent Jon & Kate to Mr. Chow's for that reason.

That darn Terri Irwin, she is such a hussy; does she really have that many friends? And her family; they couldn't really like her that much. The whole "zoo" thing and "animal conservation" I don't buy it. And everywhere I turn in the media it's Terri, Terri, Terri. And Steve, don't get me started about his "untimely death" talk about a publicity stunt. And Bindi and Bob...what a couple of spoiled brats.

I'm betting people get frustrated with Jon and Kate not because they have made a bunch of money, but maybe because they treat one another badly, seem to be self absorbed, make fools of themselves in public, or seem to put their family's (emotional) well being after the show. They also won't claim they have any control over what is happening...ridiculous. Stop the show. Working, bona fide, celebrities sometimes choose to live out of the lime light. All these photos are NOT by chance.

I'm hoping the same will happen. That one of their family/friends can talk some sense in them to convince them to discontinue the show. The kids will be the ones to ultimately suffer and be affected by this mess.

Kate comes across as pretty stubborn so I'm thinking it might take even more damage to wake her up. That would be truly awful because anymore scandal is only going to harm the kids.

Sara Evans was the celebrity on DWTS who abruptly left the show when she found out her husband was cheating. That's a normal response, I'd have done the same. My guess and I'm only stating my opinion, is that they've been seperated. Which would explain why Jon can release his statement that he didn't cheat on Kate because technically they weren't together. Kate must have already known which is why she wasn't in any hurry to cancel her book tour or appearances. That's my guess.

Of course they went to Mr. Chow's! They made a very public appearance at a high profile restaurant because Jon had gotten busted for partying at a bar with college chicks! What an idiot. Just like Madge said, their PR person most likely suggested it to show all of us at home that they're still together and having a night out for dinner.
