Totally agree - I love this thread - differing views and all and would be lost without you!
I have to say that I just love when you edit your comments...always makes me smile!
I think this was said very well - good job wordy or not!
If the show focused more on Kate's organizational skills, I personally would watch and DVR that show to rewatch! This is why I initially started watching the show. I wanted to learn from J&K but the show's taken a different turn. I'd love to see how she packed a diaper bag for all those kids, packed the van for everyone, how many suitcases/how they packed for Disney (I know they showed some of this - I seem to recall a show where they were talking about the number of suitcases). I would love to have learned more about organizing the garage (this is a personal stuggle for me since my boys seem to have huge toys and they flow all over the place!) and other places in my house. Even how she keeps her schedule together - I know they used to show her calendar but I don't recall her ever explaining it. I have a hard time with my nanny, two boys, husband and myself - I'd love to learn more tips from someone whos life appears to be much busier than mine.
Now there have been some instances where people have mentioned one of the kids did something great or someone liked something one of them did ( I specifically recall a couple of people heading to Ikea to get things Kate had purchased because they were so impressed with it from the show) or said or something. For me, it's hard for me to keep the kids straight to comment on who did/said something cute (I call my own two by the wrong name - I'm just really bad with names I guess!).
I agree that some people are extremely negative but that's what you get in life. Some people never meet anyone who meets their standards. Then there are people who are more middle of the road (I think I fall into this group personally) who have their negative moments but generally are just trying to learn more about this family to see what all the negativety is about and where people are getting all this misinformation and what the "real" story is; going on making general comments about shows, sightings, ect. Then there are people who genuinely (sp?) adore the family and will find no fault with them. I presume these are those people who just watch the show and don't spend time on line looking into the family to learn any more about them. Again, that's just how I see them. Because we have all of those different groups here, you'll always have different opinions. It always helps to have material to support your claim as the "regulars" here will certainly ask for links, stories, quotes, something to back up claims - both good or bad. It's more than just an "idle gossip" thread in my eyes as many of those who post here have actually done research or sharing their personal thoughts and feelings which couldn't have any supporting evidence.
I hope some of that rambling makes sense.

I guess basically I'm trying to say every person sees things differently - we can both look at the same picture and think two different things based on our moods, backgrounds, previous experiences, whatever. That's life and it's what helps to make us stronger, more educated people in the end.
