The new loews benefits only count your # of stays; they don't care how many nights you stay.
Blue is 2-4 stays in a year.
Gold is 5-9 stays in a year.
Platinum is 10+ stays in a year.
It no longer matters how many nights you have.
Someone who has 2 stays of 6 nights each for a total of 12 nights per year is Blue.
But someone who stays 5 times for 1 night each for a total of 5 nights is Gold.
How the heck does that make sense?
From the website:
A stay is defined as all consecutive nights at one hotel, even if the Member checks out and checks back in during those dates. The Member must reserve the room in the Member’s name and stay overnight.
For Universal people, the only option to accumulate your stays is to do a resort switch, e.g., stay one night at RPR, then switch over to PBH -- that would count as 2 stays. Ridiculous.
Think this is asinine?
