ok, so John Kerry was at the NCAA Ice Hockey championship game yesterday ... someone next to me mentioned it, and I got very excited for a minute ... until I realized that they had said "John Kerry" not "Don Cherry" (John Kerry is right now my choice for president, however, I still would've rather had a chance to meet Don Cherry ...)

In other thoughts from this weekend:
- Lacrosse is a fun sport to watch (and a good way to fill some of the empty time before the hockey championship game)
- The Fleet Center had some crowd management problems that they really should work on.
- The Fleet Center is a nice venue, but I don't know that Boston is the best possible location for a Frozen Four ... the event didn't get the local publicity it (in my mind, at least) deserves. Too many other local events competing for attention, including the Bruins in the playoffs, the Celtics, and the Red Sox opening day.

it would have been more interesting if it was Don Cherry, or John Berry, or Lon Chaney, or Ron Carey, or Ron Jeremy, or Vaughn Perry or just about anyone other than who it was.

until I realized that they had said "John Kerry" not "Don Cherry"

Ya really think you could have been that close to Don Cherry and NOT heard him????? Or at least seen the reflection of his tie?
