jogging in the parks

The Crescent Lake / Disney Studios run is very pleasant. I've run it many times and it's a good one.

1 lap around Crescent Lake is about 0.83 miles. From behind Jellyrolls along the canal to the Studios, all the way around the the head of the boat dock at the Studios and then back is about 1.5 miles.

This is a great route, and very beautiful. Do keep in mind it's a little hilly, if you're going over the bridges.

They might want to save their energy. WDW is large enough that they might find it tiring if they jogged and did the parks all in one day. I know many people who are in good shape still feel wiped after doing Epcot.

Don't freak out because of one person's opinion. I toured EPCOT for 8 hours in October, and then ran a half marathon.

My favorite run at Disney is there. Nice run around Crescent Lake, past Beach and Yacht, to the other side and past Boardwalk. They can run to Hollywood Studios and back as well...easy to get in 3 miles, and a very scenic and quiet run.

Yep, great route. I run pretty much everyday when at Disney. Believe it or not, Disney is a tough place to get a lot of miles in. It is OK for 3 miles though so they should be OK. But anything over 6 and it gets a bit tricky boring). Many times I drive to another location and run from there.

I don't think you're technically supposed to run in the parks, however I will say during our last trip in Sept. there was a lady jogging through world showcase at Epcot. Honestly, it looked really weird, and very out of place, so I think it must have been the only time I've ever seen it happen, because I'm sure I would have remembered. FWIW: I saw her come through twice and no one ever stopped her.

Just a suggestion. If you are staying at the Beach Club, they can do the loop around the Boardwalk and back a couple or a few times. We see runners out every morning. It is a peaceful time

Be careful running on the boardwalks early in the day. Those wooden planks get slippery...seen many people slip and fall on them.
