DH an I took a random road trip to Bratfest some years ago and had a blast.

I'm actually south, right on the Illinois border. It's maybe 40 minute drive to Madison and I make it up there often since my sister lives there. Where are you from, I'm kind of shocked that you've heard of bratfest, most people give me weird looks when I mention it!!

We're in Michigan. A friend of ours has family in Madison and told us about it.
Suggested to DH that we should go again, apparently it's bigger now. Won't make it this year though.

Hi guys. I have been away the last few days. Moore, OK is my hometown. We lost our home and my parents have major damage. Thank you for the prayers. They are needed big time. We're in Michigan. A friend of ours has family in Madison and told us about it.
Suggested to DH that we should go again, apparently it's bigger now. Won't make it this year though.

All of my family on my dad's side is in Michigan...but in the boring part. You should definitely come back, take in a Brewers game, perhaps Summerfest, the state fair, lots of fun things go on in the summer. Last year we had such a terrible drought that it was like a dust bowl.
