I think that's what REALLY gets to me. One of the interviewers (a woman) said that she was a diva...couldn't be shown handcuffed, couldn't show her striped pants, etc. BUT...the jail provided her with makeup AND a white sweater to wear?? Why? If I worked there and was told to be Jodi's personal makeup shopper and wardrobe consultant, I'd be saying "You've got to be ****ing kidding me." Are we (well, AZ taxpayers) paying someone to do that for her? WTH is up with that???ITA ... However, according to Sheriff Arpaio last night on HLN AfterDark, he believes in the 1st Amendment and any inmate who requests to speak to the media and signs a consent form, will never be stopped from doing so because "he has nothing to hide" ... not that anyone was asking him anything about hiding something or not, but whatever... Although, I never knew that the 1st Amendment also included the right to make up, wardrobe, a fashion stylist, hairdresser and lip gloss
... But there ya go ... Learn something new everyday
...
ITA with this Mare. I've said something similar in the past when someone asked if you could put her to death. I recall saying it would be a hard decision if I put myself in the jury's shoes. As you stated, we see and know things the jury probably doesn't. I bet if they knew about the interviews Jodi did last night and how she bashed them, they would have an easier time deciding to put her to death. Chances are they don't know though and only have what's been presented to them.
They do deserve respect in finding her guilty. At least they're not letting her walk away a free woman. As I also stated, I don't see the judge giving her life with the possibility of parole if they can't come to a decision. I'm sure the judge sees everything we do and I hope she takes all of that into consideration if she has to decide life with or without parole.

Ditto to you!I totally get what you are saying. I posted the same thing probably back 2 or 3 threads. I can sit here and say I am for the death penalty and that she should get the death penatly but if it came down do it could I do it? I'd like to think I could get past the whole idea of what it meant and just do my job and give the sentancing I think she deserved..but. The only thing I know I would not do, is that I would not look at it as killing her...because I don't think that the DP is killing in the same way that a murder is killing. If that little strategy by the DT worked by telling the jury about deciding to kill her then good for them I guess.
I just want this whole thing to be over. This trial has been a circus and a comedy of errors for a lot of it. Jodi is being treated as if she is a VIP or movie star or something and she sure isn't being treated like the convicted murderer she is.![]()
