Thanks for the answers. I was watching SNL and they had a spoof with her. Like I said, I haven't followed any of it or had even heard of her (well, I've heard her name and knew she was on trial for murder) but I didn't know what her deal was. Don't get the answers about bandwidth though.

DD is my fave. But I LOVE Will Smith! My friend just saw him in person (got to shake his hand!!) at The Ellen Show. She confirmed that he was a totally down-to-earth, fun, easy-going guy in person. That's all I've ever heard about him and it makes me smile!

ETA: To avoid confusion, "DD" in this instance is Duran Duran, not Dear Daughter. I'll henceforth refer to them as D2.

Funny-ish story. I have a playlist of my "cool" songs (on accounta I'm such a young 54 and 51 1/2 weeks old ) and I was playing them on Halloween, and when my DDs came over, with my DGD (who was 11 months at the time), I paused the song. So we're sitting in the LR chatting and having a lovely visit, and DD (DGD's mom) says "Blow me??" And I was like...???? . But that's what's in big letters on the screen..."One Last Kiss" is in smaller letters below it! So she says to DGD "You can't come to Grandma's anymore honey."

That's funny, Mare! I love that song.

Wow, just caught up on the past 30 pages - lol you guys move to fast for me!

Arias was so passive-aggressive in addressing the jury, and I felt her narcissism came through yet again. "look at me I donated hair to locks of love" "look at me I could start a recycling program" "look at me I could teach the illiterate". PUUULLLLEEEASE - it is all such BS. Where was the emotion, where was the remorse. She stood there as if she was doing a presentation in class. Looking at family photos and still no emotion. Such cold detachment. She still managed to make her little digs at the Alexanders. And what Balls to hold up the survivor tee-shirt! Disgusting.

I thought Wilmott did as good as she possibly could, but she doesn't have much to work with, and she tried to stretch it out.

JM systematically knocked down each DT point as to why Arias should get life. He showed why the death sentence would be appropriate.

I don't think so either. Based on the judge's instructions, it seems like there are a lot of forms to go over before the verdict is read. I bet their mind is made up but they won't be able to give the verdict until tomorrow.

We were having a party, and the play list was on shufffle and it hit the "Pumpkin and Hunny Bunny" song, and I dived towards the volume and hit right before the first "F" bomb. lol! I told DH when we have parties he can't have that song play because there are kids at the house, and the last thing we need is them quoting the opening line, and that they heard it hear.

Good times, good times. When I find a song on youtube that I put in a playlist, I don't sit and watch the video. A few times, I happen to walk past the computer and saw some things. Some of those videos are raunchy!

Well, in the hands of THIS jury anyway. If the jury hangs, they do the whole penalty phase over again with a different jury.

So, that's the poll I'm going to do...life, death, or hung jury. By the time anything comes after that, if it's not "death", (including the judge coming back with LWOP or Life with parole in 25 years), we'll probably have another thread with another poll.

My vote's for Baby C ...

I don't think the sentencing verdict will come back until late Wednesday or sometime on Thursday ... But I've been wrong before ...
