For me personally, there were pictures inadvertently taken during the murder. After her arrest, she went on TV doing interviews with her sweet voice professing her love for the victim, for her religion, and her innocence. That's what got me interested. There were also her lies...1) she wasn't there at all, 2) two intruders broke in and killed him while she was there (when faced with absolute evidence that she was there), 3) she killed him in self-defense (29 stab wounds including several to his back, a slashed throat). It's also the trial that was chosen to be televised. All the other murders that happen every day aren't.
If there was something about the next live trial that I found fascinating, I'd watch...the justice system fascinates me. Altho, I've spent enough time on trials for a while.
