Holy mother of God... just turned on HLN and Juan just started his cross. Been reading the thread to keep up and having it taped all day so I can FF in the morning and DH gets home at 3pm est and is tired of the trial...

Gonna be too bad for him on thurs and friday. Oh and had my DD pick up chinese for dinner on her way home from work... good thing cause I was going to go on strike tonight and they may have gotten hot dogs.

This may be a longer night. They are going to go till they are done. Juan has a witness.

I'll almost guarantee that he's getting some type of compensation - either through another case he'll be doing for Nurmi, or some other form of payment. I'll bet they specifically said to Dr. Burp that they weren't going to "pay" him so that the "hired" gun slur couldn't be thrown at him in this specific instance.

I have a solution for your flat-beer syndrome, now that you know your mower has 2 cupholders. Keep a salt shaker in the other one and dash a little in your beer when it goes flat. That'll pick it right back up.

Thank you. They both worked so hard. My fifth grader trained a Betta Fish to look for food when he rang a bell based on Pavlov's dogs. Believe it or not, it worked. I am not sure if it was the bell or if the fish realized that when it saw my son, food would appear. Either way, it was considered a conditioned response. My fourth grader showed how acids in food were bad for your teeth. He put 4 raw eggs in different types of vinegar. Within 36 hours, the vinegar had eaten the shells away. He proved that the acid eats away the calcium on your teeth to cause decay and tooth loss. The eggs were pretty neat because you could see the yolk floating around through the membrane.

How cool with those experiments, congrats to you and both of them!!

Uncle Remus- I haven't been on for a few days so I am just trying to catch up. Congratulations on you new lawn mower. We have a Toro, Zero Turn, with two handles. I love to cut grass with that thing. It took a while to get used to it but now I look forward to cutting grass. I think it is more of the fact that I get about 3 hours of peace and "quiet" when I am on it. I put my headphones on and totally ignore the family.
