Jodi claimed that she had dyed her hair brown back in March or April, IIRC. They showed pictures of her with a dog, and she had definite blond streaks after she claimed she had dyed it back. I remember this from testimony way back, and I remember thinking my DH would have called her hair "blonde" altho Jodi/DT were claiming it was brown. The point being, per the DT, she didn't dye her hair brown after getting the rental car...it was already brown.

What is the significance of the dyed hair? To show that she was trying to disguise herself, in case anybody tried to identify her prior to June 4th? If the car was rented under her name, they would have known it was her anyway. I must be missing something here.

The way I've been thinking all along was that the significance was that she was less noticeable as a brunette/not as recognizable to those who knew her and she wanted that for the "secret" part of her journey to Arizona. The idiotic thing, though, is that she should have dyed it back to blonde before she went to Utah (yes, I know that would have required quite a bit of time after killing TA). But once people you know see you with the brown hair, it defeats the purpose of changing your looks for the part of the trip you don't want anyone to know you went on. If people testified that a brunette got gas in Arizona, all of her friends in Utah could say, well, she was blonde when we saw her the next day.

VERY NICE FIND! Another gaping hole in her story which point to her lying and premeditation.

Oh, I know that. What she had was highlighted hair, per that picture of her with the dog. What I posted above...my DH would have called that "blond", so just because the car rental guy didn't say "brown with blond highlights" doesn't mean he got it wrong. It was all brown tho when she killed Travis.

2. Would there have been any significance to measure all of the shelves since JA stated she only used the bottom to get to the top shelf?

3. Were any of the shoes out of place when detectives arrived on the scene?

4. Did either of TA current roommates at the time own a gun?

5. What would you say is approx. width of end shelf unit where JA claims the gun was located?

6. JA testified that she helped TA put some things in the attic. Did you find anything stored in attic?

7. Is floor of attic capable of supporting boxes?

8. Could you tell if anything had ever been stored in attic?

9. Where is opening to attic located?

10. Do you know weight/height/shoe size of JA at time of booking?

11. It appears in March 5, 2013 photo that the metal shelving pins are round for entire length of pin - is that right?

12. Were there any signs of evidence found at TA house that he owned a gun?

13. When TA’s master closet was originally examined, were there any empty boxes or containers found in top shelf that could contain gun?

14. If JA were to stand with her arms pointing straight up into air, do you know what distance would be from ground to tips of her fingers?

Exactly. The issue with the shelf or its contents isn't solely that everything would have been on the floor from her standing on it (although, that's likely as well). It's also that, even if that bottom shelf made her tall enough to reach the top shelf, it would have flipped under her weight and she never would have been able to get her hand up there.

And how by the time Jodi put it back Travis would have caught her. No christmas stuff in the attic. So the day of the kiddie issue they were putting away christmas stuff.
