I'm confused about the hair. I thought we already knew she had brown hair at the time of the murder. Isn't her hair brown in the pictures they took that day? I thought they were going to show a picture of her with blonde hair. Or maybe I have it backwards.

The day she picked up the rental car on the 3rd of june, her hair was blonde. The car rental guy testified to that, on her way back she had it dyed back to brown. Then she took a picture of it on the Helio phone she said she lost, but thanks to Juan the phone was located and proved she died it brown after getting the car.

HLN has the timeline as getting the car on the 3rd (as a blonde) with a return date of the 6th, but she extended it and returned it on the 7th. Is that not correct?

EDIT - Sorry, they have the car being picked up on the 2nd.

Lets see if I can clear it up, Redding is only 90 for her each way to pick up the car on the 3rd, car guy said she was blonde. After she picked up the car she drove back the opposite route, ( the one I take to go to Monterey ) so it would have been a little longer drive to Salinas coming back. She went and had her hair dyed from the blonde to brown on that same day. She used the helio phone that she said she lost and took a picture of herself and now she has brown hair.
