The Opening with ALV (where Willie asked her questions before cross) lasted 6 days, Dr. JD's entire testimony lasted 3 and a half days ( a half day thanks to Jodi's "Migraine" yesterday).

That is what happens when you have a CREDITABLE EXPERT!

Oh, that's so awful. My workplace is doing a small tribute for the Texas victims on Monday. It sounds horrible to say, but you almost feel like the country is so inundated with tragedies that the folks in Texas are being "short-changed" when it comes to attention and national grief. My heart breaks for them.

Oh no, I don't think we feel that way, it's just like you say, the country is inundated with tragedies or like Mare says, what next?

Are you here in Texas? I'm sure there will be several tributes once things calm down somewhat.

And thanks everyone, just think these firefighters are volunteers, people who do it because they're community minded.

Yes it does! It's creepy, but I'm glad people now realize that killers aren't always the Norman Bates outcast types.

Its very scary what's going on in Texas right now. Seems like this country's getting hit all at once

Tone seemed fine, not nearly as Damning as any of the ones for the Defense "Experts" or Jodi. Not very many either maybe 10-15 tops.

I found myself watching the Boston bombing news over and over and over again, and got flashbacks to how depressed I got after 911, and obsessed I had become about watching endless news reports, so I've definitely stepped back this week. I almost feel guilty doing that tho, like I'm ignoring these tragedies, KWIM?

We were in WDW for a couple of awful tragedies including our very first trip in '97 (Kentucky school shooting) and the Virginia Tech shootings ('07). Other than that though, it's great to get away from reality.

Dang, it's like you read my mind.

I think part of what's so upsetting is all our small communities in this area depend so much on each other that we're just one bigger community of small towns. West's FD came and helped out in my little town when the fires were so bad a few years ago and of course, we rally around our great firefighters and first responders. Now with the reports of 10 missing, it's just such a big loss to all of us.

I confess I watched a few youtubes for WDW today and read a few threads in the DVC section just for a means to escape.
