I saw the artwork-paying-for-family thing on HLN tonight. It ran across the bottom on the ticker. Then I read the Twitter link you sent and she mentioned there would be new artwork available soon, but I clicked out of there (quickly!) before I read where it was for sale.

In my household, we call that product placement or a commercial.

I thought the authentication of Jodi's thumbprint on all her work was interesting.

Quick question for those of you who have been following this longer than me. Did I hear Violet say that up to age 6 is what forms your foundation for how you will act as an adult and if you will become an abuser?

If so I find this very interesting. Travis didn't go to live with grandmother until he was a few years older than that. Therefore, on Violet's continuum, ergo Travis will become an abuser. But didn't I hear Jodi testify that her early years were idyllic and the abuse didn't start until she was 8 or so? So I guess even those she had abuse in her childhood, on Violet's continuum Jodi would not become an abuser because her abuse started after age 6.

It is so obvious that this self defense nonsense is cooked up. Violet didn't even meet Jodi until 2011, which coincidentally is when Jodi came up with this self defense claim. And to make sure that she fit into Violet's gobbledygook, her childhood abuse (and I use that term loosely) just happens to give her the excuse to be the victim instead of the perpetrator.

Whoa! Awesome observation!! One of the questions I kept thinking I would have asked Jodi back when she was testifying was "What happened in your family that BOTH of your parents started abusing you when you were 7?" It just seemed so odd that there'd be this sudden abuse by BOTH parents...were there financial problems leading to stress/anger? Other marital problems? What? So now we know...that story just very tidily FITS Violet's continuum. Un-****ing-believable.

I'm sure before this she could have sold them for 25-50. Disgusting that she is making money off this and sitting and drawing while her life is at stake. I'm hoping all the jurors see that and take it into consideration.

I noticed that too. ALV was shaken. So shaken, when judge dismissed jury and asked everyone to stand for the jury, ALV did not stand. I can just imagine her naïve thoughts " Wow, I thought the jury believed me" " I don't think they like me or think I am doing a very good job" " They think I am showing partiality to Jodi"
I bet she never looks at the DT teams direction any more. Once they asked her about looking at Jodi she turned to the jury and remained facing them afraid she would look at the DT again. The jury rocked her (deep down to her self esteem) much more than JM did. And she couldnt asked them if they are mad at her or offer the jury a time out
