Just watching now.

Psycho is set in Phoenix AZ, less than 20 miles from TA's home in Mesa.
Psycho's opening scene is a sex scene, "afternoon delight" at 2:43 PM.
At TA's, evidence photos show similar acts, starting at 1:42 PM.
In Psycho, Janet Leigh goes on a road trip, on the run from cops, and ends up getting pulled over.
The cop even checks out the back license plate.
Next scene, she's getting a new car...light colored.
They show Janet Leigh looking at a couple of license plates on cars...CA and AZ.
Then they compare shots of The Shower Scene (I'm pretty sure the pictures or the links to them were posted in this thread)...and they are eerily similar.

They showed the back shot, where people think Travis has a scratched back, but looking at it now, I think that it looks like a combination of water and it almost looks like there's some discoloration (could be from the camera being washed) from something like sections of peeled skin. I definitely don't see a scratched up back. JMHO.

She did love her movies.

I love how the jury now knows she planned to travel to Mesa. Isn't that nice of AL to leave that in her notes.

Looking forward to DD tonight.
The murderer and Willie chit chatting after court yesterday made me gag.

How does she let her so close, yuck.

I am going to miss morning session today sadly.

Can you imagine purchasing a dishwasher yes new in 2009 and they now don't have parts any longer to fix this dishwasher???
Its crazy, Thank goodness we purchased the extended warranty so we were given a full refund of purchase price.
Now I have to go find a new one that is somewhat similar to the Frigidaire appliances I have already.

Hope I don't miss ALV's breakdown cause I really think one is coming.

Well, you know we don't agree on whether or not Jodi was abused, but I agree on the rest of what you said. Esp the danger to society. I'd still like to know where she was going exactly with that other gun right before she was arrested. Supposedly that camping trip with guys she barely knew, to protect herself. Now seriously, doesn't that come off as someone who's a danger to society? After KILLING her ex-boyfriend, she's going to A) go away with men who were relative strangers, and B) bring a GUN, just in case. I'm wondering if she knew she was screwed and was going to go on a Aileen Wuornos-ish type of spree.

Yay for your cold being gone! I think mare was talking about how you feel Jodi and Travis were both twisted individuals that used each other but Travis used her in his sick sexually deviant ways. I could be wrong though.

How long after the murder was the road trip? Any chance she could have been going after Mimi and realized that the .25 didn't do what she wanted it to? That's why she can't exactly remember who was going on the trip?

The Evil Snow White clip was great and thanks for posting the trial's live stream link. HLN's pauses (while necessary) are just as bad as the sidebars. I just need ALV off the stand and the pauses drag her testimony out mercilessly.

Welcome! HLN is terrible and take more pauses than necessary. They only do it because they know people are sucked in and will suffer through. Their ratings must be amazing!

But I don't believe for a minute that she wouldn't get pulled over on a 1000 mile drive with an upside down plate. (Who here wants to turn their plate upside down and report back how soon they got pulled over? ) I remember Beth Karas saying maybe she took them off in Travis driveway so that no one could give a plate number, and that when she hastily put the back one back on, she inadvertently turned it upside down. I believe, and one of the commentators had said, she may have put it on upside down right before meeting up with Ryan Burns so that she WOULD get pulled over so there'd be a record of her being where she said she was going to be.

Jodi sure is calculating when she does things. Always one step ahead in her mind.her problem is too many details, whether in speaking or doing. Less is more!

Do you think Violet will breakdown? ... I don't know what it is about her or what makes her tick ... Is it arrogance, stubborness, ego, defiance, fear of looking weak, delusion, plain stupidity that has not allowed her to waiver in her position thus far? ... Or has she totally been sucked into the JA fog and honestly believes everything she is testifying to? ... I don't think she is doing herself any great favor by continuing down the same path that she has paved, however, I don't see her breaking away from it either ... I hope her conscious eventually gets the better of her ... But maybe she doesn't even have one ...

I think UR said it best up thread a ways.... She lives and breaths DV and wants to "SAVE" all women from it. It is her life. So she wants to convince everyone else that what she believes is the truth (whether it is or not).

Jodi going along with the 12 year old girl sex fantasy isn't indicative of abuse by either one of them, but yeah, I guess that makes sense if one thinks I believe either of them were abused. Their other sex, all normal to me and my understanding of how some folks like it, even the con job of hey, this sex isn't sex according to God's plan or in this case the Laws of Chastity. Don't forget, my freedom started with courts decriminalizing sodomy. But yes, con artists, both of them, nasty, ugly, sick con artists, caught up in their own game and didn't have sense enough to save their own souls, or in Travis' case, his life.

However, I can also see why/how Laviolette could assess domestiv violence/abuse excuse with the evidence in this case.

I heard this to. She turned it upside down so there would be a paper trail of her being in Utah and not in Arizona. She would get a warning or citation from the Utah police thus trying to cover her tracks saying she was in Utah.
