Jodi Arias Trial Part 4, starting with redirect of "expert" Dr Samuels, March 19

Oh yeah, much better looking with the natural 'do before the dye job. :thumbsup2

What I want to know is ... if we can all be on time, why can't they be? This is so frustrating!

Ya know, if it was only once or twice that court ran late- whatever. But EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!! Learn how to run a courtroom!

Read an article today of a guy who is in court for fathering children with a few of his daughters. Said he's been on trial for TWO YEARS!!!

I looked up once on the longest jury deliberations. One was 6 months.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I can't believe that the Judge is allowing ALL of this testimony, especially when I believe the Defense must only show that Jodi had to use equal force to protect her life, and to me, it looks like she coulda just run down the stairs and out the door.... according to her story.

I found this and Joey Jackson from HLN has stated same, "Most self defense law dictates that you defend yourself only if no retreat is possible, and only with force equal to or less than that of the attacker's force, or intent of force"

Hi Susie and welcome :)

About the comment from Joey. I heard the defense team does not want that part of the self defense law given to the jurors with their deliberating instructions. I can't believe they can even request that.
Shouldn't the law be given to them in its full context?

Oh my gaaaawwwwd, Jodi lived in a fantasy world, get past it, let the State cross now!! :headache:

Bless you.

My pet peeve for the day (for starters ;) ) - I can't stand how Willie smiles with her witnesses and vice versa ... I mean they are there defending a monster who admitted to brutally killing someone! ... It's not a tea party! ... Ok, peeve over ... for now ;) ...

Nope, too long. How would it take 6 months!?!? That was probably like a 3 year old fight, "They're guilty. No they aren't. Yes they are. No they aren't. Yes they are. No they're not! Mooooooooooooom"

I don't believe for a second that Travis made Jodi rip out pages of her journal. Why would she even show him? She's an idiot.

Sooo ... are we going to go over every single journal entry from Oct. 2007 to June 2008? Please tell me we're not. And if I have to hear about the Laws of Attraction one more time, I'm going to scream.

7 more months of journal entries until the night of the murder. I think I might go clean something because it is only gonna get worse with the Travis bashing.

I think the year was 1932, the great depression was on, the jurors at that time got a dollar a day, so they stretched it out for as long as they could to collect the money. I think the next longest one was 4 months.

That's it, JM ... Shut her down once and for all and make that Judge do the same! ...

And if she did show him, she probably taunted him with it, held it just within his reach, and when he grabbed it, the page tore. So to Jodi, that would mean that Travis made her rip the page out.

I don't see how anything ALV is testifying to can help JA. Everybody knows that she is a known liar. Just because she wrote it in her journal or told ALV doesn't make it true.

Hahahah at first I thought you were telling me a story, but then I got to the end and realized it must be truth! :lmao: :lmao: If it was during the depression, then it makes sense, especially if there was no other way to make money.

How long do you guys think it takes the judge to do her hair in the mornings? There's a lot of hairspray going on there. Maybe that's why court is always late. :confused3
