Since ALV has testified that a lot of people turn out like their parents and their up bringing, this is not looking good for JA. She is talking about JA's dad being a controlling, manipulating, and jealous person. Perhaps, JM will point this out during cross. She tried to make TA look bad with the hypothetical question.

I see it as her trying to get sympathy for JA, a way of trying to show "Oh she shes a murderer, but its not her fault". A total load of BS.

Forgive me if it has been answered but what are the blue ribbons that Jodi's aunt & mother are wearing? I know TA's family was wearing blue ribbons for him & Jodi requested they be removed. Is her family wearing them to try to diminish the effect on the jury?

Oh BS! Just because your parents stay in a less-than-satisfying marriage doesn't mean you're going to stay in a bad relationship too. Not everyone parrots what they learn from their parents - some people can actually use their brains.

ALV should be able to recognize that Jodi was lying to her and messing with her to get ALV's attention. People like Jodi will do anything to get attention, especially if they are locked up in jail. This is why Jodi is prolonging court and enjoying the spotlight. I mentioned it during the CA trial, I have a family member who has all sort of issues. She will do anything for attention. I see a lot of Jodi's ways( minus the murder) in my family member. However, I never thought I would say this ( go ahead and get your rotten tomatoes ready to throw at me), but I don't blame JA about wanting to prolong court. Being in court has to be better than sitting in jail.

I hate the way these experts take what they are told and what they read and repeat it as the gospel ... If they don't witness it with their own eyes, how can they believe and report it as the truth? ... especially when they know the person telling them things is a LIAR! ... so frustrating ...

I saw the comment about the hung jury. If there's ever any evidence of that kind of thing, they need to move to professional jurors.Ya think? And isn't there a library there? Or family members who can do these things?I'll DVR it, and FF to the interrogation tapes. They're so entertaining.

Regarding professional jurors, I see what you're getting at, but if you really think the idea through, no thanks. A jury of our peers is fundamental to our justice system and our freedoms. The potential for subverting the system is huge if we give away our rights to a jury of our peers.
