I hate the way these experts take what they are told and what they read and repeat it as the gospel ... If they don't witness it with their own eyes, how can they believe and report it as the truth? ... especially when they know the person telling them things is a LIAR! ... so frustrating ...

I know, but I'm guessing that's one of the things that JM will go after.

Regarding professional jurors, I see what you're getting at, but if you really think the idea through, no thanks. A jury of our peers is fundamental to our justice system and our freedoms. The potential for subverting the system is huge if we give away our rights to a jury of our peers.

OK...then let me say it this way. Esp with social media being what it is, the current system needs to be discussed. Always. The idea that the American justice system is "the best", and infallible (and I don't mean that "they always get it right") IMHO, is a dangerous idea IF it means it's never discussed/analyzed.
