Ok, I get that PTSD could occur AFTER you kill someone. However, this trial is about her actions BEFORE the fog set in.

These are exactly my thoughts...of course the murder of Travis could cause PTSD, hacking someone's head off would be pretty traumatic to anyone. He hasn't referenced that the PTSD CAUSED her to feel that her life was in danger when she killed Travis & isn't that the entire point of this trial To determine if it truly was self defense?

Aren't they supposed to be proving it was "self defense". He sure didn't do that so far....

Yes, She SHOULD have thoughts of her murder victim.

Nope, don't buy that she has PTSD, not even a little. She WANTED to kill him, that was her intent...well really her intent was to win him back but obviously had doubts as she had the gun and was prepared to do what she had to...but I don't think there is any remorse in her except for her getting caught. She most likely goes through that killing every day and thinks about what went wrong and how it's all Travis' fault that he didn't die nicely, and it screwed things up. If she could do it all over again, she'd shoot at close range or something... (On a side note, it kind of bothers me that while this is a truly heinous murder and all of us are horrified, at the same time we are so desensitized to things kinds of things-especially with the pictures. )

She probably DOES blame Travis for not just dying nicely. So she could wash the blood off and get out of there.
IMHO (or NOT so humble...) She INTENDED to kill him if he didn't agree to take her back, marry her, whatever. She premeditated the WHOLE thing.
I'm still unsure of whether she shot first or stabbed first. I do not think she ran in the closet and scaled the shelves to get the gun. I think she had it on her (and the knife as well).

I want to take another look at that full-on face pic of Travis. I know there's a link on the first page to Huffington, but does that have all the crime scene photos? Because I've done my best to avoid the gruesome ones and I don't really want to see those if at all possible.
