How in the world is that channel making money off those stupid tv shows they play? Or has our society been so dumbed down that it's as much stimulation as they can handle?
MTE
I think they're aiming to get rid of InSession completely and relying on HLN. They keep almost BRAGGING on HLN that they're going to show you every minute of the trial...not to worry!...but it drags on and on and on with commentary and commercials and other news updates. Makes me nuts.
Just turned on Nancy Grace from last night and Dr Uncle Fester is on, and with much professional conviction is saying (regarding PTSD) "she was not able to tell her
family about what
happened, she was not able to tell anybody what happened, and this is a classic symptom of an acute stress disorder." OMG Seriously? I think statements like that are going to make the jury go "

" and dismiss a lot of what he has to say, if not all.
My brother served in Vietnam and saw a lot of action. He was a mess when he got home and suffered from PTSD, altho I don't think it had a name then. I know that for YEARS (if not still, at 68 yrs old) he didn't/couldn't talk about anything. I remember in the late 70s, a boyfriend of mine joined the AF and was telling my brother what training he would get (mechanical or electrical?

) and my brother telling him "All they taught me was how to kill people." My brother's inability to talk about it was a CLASSIC SYMPTOM. Jodi's inability to tell anybody what happened stems from the fact that she brutally slaughtered someone and was in deep ****.
And once again...WHO CARES. It was after the fact. If she's not going to tell what happened, then we've got whatever forensics are available. But all we really need to know is that it was OVERKILL...she was not just stopping him from allegedly attacking her.
And another thing! Must
EVERYTHING be a DISORDER?
You drive over two hours to watch your granddaughter every friday?!? Goodness, you should just kidnap her Thursday evenings and keep her for a while. Little bodies in bed at night makes for fun nights (I AM NOT A PEDOPHILE DESPITE WHAT JODI WOULD CLAIM!!!

)
My granddaughter would never sleep at our house. DD brought her a few weeks ago to both spend the night, and DGD just would not go to sleep. DD ended up napping from 8:30 PM to midnight while DH walked DGD around the house showing her everything (she's 16 months old now) and playing Mickey Mouse videos on his laptop. And then DH got DD up to drive home. (Where was I? Fell asleep on the couch!

Oh well...they had some good bonding time.)
