This idea is sooo cute!!! I think I might get some old books from a thrift store, and use my mickey hole punch and make some of my own confetti!

Mix it on the tables with some rose petals?

I have today booked my dress steaming. I had thought, all along, I would go with Carolyn Allen, but when I asked Karen (my planner) she also recommended Lori from Loftis productions (in fact, Karen said she HIGHLY recommended them) so I e-mailed Lori. Turms out that her services are slightly cheaper than CA, and she could steam my dress on the day before our VR. Perfect!!! So that is all booked and another job ticked off the list!!!

*guiltily sneaks back in* It's been such a long time since I've caught up with your PJ, you've done so much that it's taken me ages to read through! lol

I love all your etsy finds! I adore the website and all the super talented makers who sell their crafts but I can never decide what to buy as there's just too much choice!

You're definitely going to have a very beautiful VR and your guests are going to be truly spoiled by the look of all the lovely things you've got in store for them.

It's good to hear about an alternative for dress steaming as I have only ever heard CA mentioned. I must make a note of that one in my ever expanding wedding file!

Thank you for the lovely comments!!! I have put quite a lot in to planning this VR and the nearer it gets, the more I wonder what I will do with myself afterwards. I plan to go back to 'dabbling' with all the talented girls over on the 'Creative DISigns' board, but otherwise..... Humm wait, I have 'big' birthday in a couple of years .... I always wanted to go to New York and sail on DCL....

Hii Joanne! I haven't decided whether to start a PJ... but anyway I LOVE your tags! Unfortunately, I've fallen a bit behind with your PJ (work always gets in the way!), so I'm about to go back through and read more about your beautiful tags. Are you putting your tags inside any sort of case or just using sturdy paper?

Hi Catherine!
I managed to find some faux leather luggage tags in a £ shop so bought a bunch of these - I think they were three for a pound (don't you just love a bargain!!). I have, however, in the past made many luggage tags for my own Disney trips and for others who I have met over on the 'Creative DISigns' board. I found that it works really well by just using good quality paper to print out both sides of the tag, and then sticking the two sides together and laminating the whole thing. I finish by punching a hole in the tag and adding co-ordinating ribbon.
Another alternative is to buy self-laminating luggage tags. I believe these are available in places such as Walmart in the US, but I have never been able to source them in the UK.

Joanne, I just listened to it and came here specifically to tell what a great job you did! You were very composed and full of great info ... you sounded like an absolute pro! Your glowing report of how well things have gone almost made me wish we were doing an S/D VR, LOL!
