Joan Jett came into my store today

She was at our Base jumping with the Golden Knights. After the jump she came into our PX to do some shopping. I was the one who helped her shop. I was the only one she gave her autograph to. Made my day.

My mom saw her in Arizona at a hotel years ago. Mom didn't know who she was but knew she was a celeb. My brother showed mom one of Joan's CDs and mom got all excited and said that was her. Too bad she didn't know sooner she could have gotten us an autograph

Grog I am not sure how she got to jump with the knights. I do know that they let people tandem jump with them after they take a class. A few people on the base have done it. One of the girls that works for me jumped last week. SHe loved it. Had to take a class before hand. Got pretty sick after but said she would do it again.

aahmom1 almost did not recognize her. She has very short hair. Blond highlights. Did not wear much make-up. She is very nice as is her manager. She is suppose to jump again today.

I saw Joan Jett in the Broadway version of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" a couple of years ago. I am totally blanking on her character name for some reason. It will probably come to me later. She couldn't act, but it was still fun to see her in the show.

Just as a little addition, I also saw Luke Perry (as Brad), and Ana Gasteyer (who took over for Joan Jett in the role whose character name I can't recall) in that show as well. I can think of nothing scarier than having her Luke Perry attempt to see and see him in high heels and fish net stockings on the same evening (shuddering at the thought).

Joan Jett was probably either Magenta (french maid) or Columbia (with a tap dance number) or Janet..

My bet is Magenta.
