It did feel like Steve was on the show for about two months before they started a three month countdown to him leaving.

I will say from one perspective, that even if it wasn't amicable they both may have been better off just faking a friendly send off. Instead it does look a little acrimonious this way, which leads to people wanting to know more and speculating, which then leads to people being told not to speculate which tends to lead to even more speculating.

In the end its ultimately a business. There are employers and employees and not every work relationship ends well, and not every work relationship that doesn't end well has a juicy backstory. Sometimes its just people and jobs heading in different directions.

So sad to see JL leaving. I was also surprised not to see Pete say anything on Tuesday, it was sort of funny actually he kept saying "Anything else?" but no one said anything. Craig was pretty much speechless about her departure last Thursday on the Universal show and that is certainly not typical for him.

I do think the DIS needs to look for someone with a more family viewpoint which was one of JL's biggest contributions. Most of the guys on the show don't have children, Corey and Julie do but are seldom on the show, and Teresa does but is so quiet during the larger groups, (she was great with JL on the Trip and really got to love that show because of their great interaction). The family view point or at least parents with that 8-16 demographic is a pretty big segment of the Disney crowd (and Universal). Don't misinterpret, I still love the show and probably always will, but JL brought something most of the "gang" didn't have and we the audience will miss that.

In closing I want to thank JL for her wonderful contributions, (she always seemed like the professional one) and wish her the greatest success imaginable......

...Corey and Julie do but are seldom on the show...

I thought that the regular rotation, unless someone was unavailable, was to have Corey and Julie alternate weeks, so that one of them is on the show pretty much every week. It seems like it's been that way pretty consistently this year at least. Julie was there yesterday and Corey was there last week, for example.

I got that SOB finished on Tuesday night after just over a year of work, maybe 20-24 hours worth of work. it's so amazing, love it.

Oh no. This tattoo is an incredible work of art. Maybe Jes will share a pic but having seen it, and totally not being a guy who is into tattoos, even I need to admit that this one's a beauty.

No one could replace Bob, I remember they considered ending the show after he passed.

What I saw from JL is what Pete saw in her before he hired her. There is an obvious talent and on air persona, but real emotion too. At this point I doubt she is reading any of this, but whomever does replace her has big tiny shoes to fill.
