Jetblue flight schedules. When will Sept. be released????

Hi everyone, just ran ours from newark to orlando and the price round trip is $276. It's around $75 higher then this past November. Higher then I wanted to pay but not that bad.

Yes - but you need to know what you are up against to figure out if the fares will just go up, or have the potential to go down again when you get closer to your travel dates. I am a teacher and can only travel during vacation weeks during the school year - Thus for me, I need to get airfare for these trips as soon as it is released to get it the cheapest possible. As the seats sell, the airfare prices rise. The planes I've been on for these school vacation week trips is usually close to booked/overbooked and I've watched the prices - they just got higher and higher. On the otherhand, when my friend travelled on Jetblue at non-peak times (read not school vacations in the area) such as the first week of December, she was able to get cheaper fares close to her travel date - they went on sale as Jetblue realized it was not selling out on its own. So you need to know how busy of a flying week you are travelling and if you think flights will sell well in your area for that time period. Flexibility with days and flight times is also huge as far as getting cheaper fares close to your date of travel.

Good information. Yes, we travel off-peak: September. Using Southwest from Providence, I am familiar with the price bounce and kind of know when to jump. Two of our family members will be flying out of Boston and I think JetBlue might be their best bet for a non-stop flight. Still, $150 one way seems high to me. I'm advising they "wait and see" but I admittedly am out of my comfort zone.

I booked the same route today. After watching the news and the projection that gas may be over $5 a gallon, I'm thinking the fare isn't likely to drop.
