We are coming down from New York in September and I was just wondering when Jetblue will release their schedules? Do most of you purchase your tickets right away or do you wait and see if they go down. We are traveling a Saturday to a Saturday. Thanks

I am also waiting for them to release September. It looks like it is historically the beginning of March. So a couple more weeks. I plan to buy right away because I don't see gas going anywhere but up.

I'm not too familiar with Jet Blue or for any airline really besides Southwest. Does Jet Blue fluctuate their prices like SWA does? Do all airlines? :3dglasses

OP, not sure when the next release is, but if it's anything like the last one, be prepared for higher rates than what you might be use to. I'm a Jetblue flyer and our next trip is in 10 weeks and I've not even bought my tickets yet. They are currently double what I'm use to paying and I'm still on the fence whether we will be flying this spring or having to drive :scared1: (first time ever). I too need fall tickets for my October trip, but would love to see something affordable for my late April trip right now!

BTW -- if you're a trueblue member, you will get an email letting you know of the upcoming release before they release it.

We are also waiting for Sept. to be released and going Sat. to Sat. I think it's going to be much higher than usual this time.

Another Jetbluer waiting on Sept.. We are going a Friday through Tuesday. Hopefully it won't be so bad :(

I'm stalking some continental tickets but waiting until jetblue releases. We're going Friday to following Saturday. I expect Jetblue will be more expensive but just want to double check before I pull the trigger on the continental tickets.

I know, this is all driving me crazy. Right now for my April trip the prices have been double of what I'm used to paying and have been since day 1 of the release. I don't mind paying a little more, but I could fly on United right now for $20 less pp and that's including paying for the luggage. Jetblue has not had any sales, as they sometimes will have promotions. They just celebrated their birthday this weekend and it would've been nice if they celebrated with a sale....but no. I follow them on facebook too just in case there's an incentive coupon. They need to give me something as I don't want to fly someone else. After I get my late April airfare done, I can join the rest of you to watch for my October airfare. Ugh.

We just flew jetblue this past November and I paid around $1,000 for 5 of us to fly (left from westchester and returned to Newark). I don't know what I will do if the flights are $300 or above. I think we paid around $104 each way. It seems like flights are continuing to increase. I just priced out the end of August and the prices are outrageous. We are going in September, hopefully we won't have to cancel our vacation plans.

The price for 4 of us for 8/19 - 8/25 is $1,600 right now from Boston, which is just pathetic. We always fly JetBlue. We love their service and they are always early but it kind of stinks that they are no longer cheap.

we are also waiting for jet blue to annouce their airfare. last year they released them March 8th and thats when we booked. i stalked prices and i could have gotten them $100 cheaper during one of their sales but besides that when they were first released is when they were the cheapest.

Ugh, saw on another thread that unless there's a computer glitch, my non-stop service out of Dulles may be ending. No non-stop flights are coming up for the summer now. I've written them and am waiting for a response, but I sure hope it's only a computer glitch (actually the same thing happened a few months ago and then the schedule came back, so that's what I'm hoping for). DCA is not an option for us from WV.

Does anyone have any info/guesses as to how far out the next fare releases will go. I am flying out 11/10. Thx in advance.

Also waiting for sept. Jet blue prices. We usually fly SW but got a great jetblue deal last trip (3 years ago) so the kids got spoiled! Just started looking at airfare now as the resort ressie just got set yesturday...mostly! I would love to go jetblue again but with 7 seats to buy I will have to go with whoever is least expensive!!!

Just got the email from JetBlue on Feb 19 at 12pm ET the flights will be extended to Oct 27

Just an FYI for those of you who like to research and know what's coming before it actually gets here: Last time I was waiting for Jetbue to release their flights, I was able to see Jetblue's flights on Kayak.com the night before they were released (It was a Saturday night before a Sunday release. You could NOT book them, but you could see the times and prices.) This allowed me to know what to expect the next morning when flights were actually released and actually allowed me to decide the night before that I was going to fly out of a different airport because their prices were not what I was looking for out of my home airport (so come April, I will be flying out of Newburgh NY instead of Hartford - 2 hour drive, but saved close to $800!) Hopes this helps as you plan!

Interesting. I just checked Kayak now for our October trip, and there ARE flights showing up for Jet Blue. Price is similar to current JB prices, but flight times have changed by several hours. I'm anxious to verify that this matches the JB website tomorrow. Thanks so much!!!

I check flights and prices every few weeks and there haven't been any great sales that I saw, but I don't have much experience with JB (have always gone SWA or Delta --- when Delta still had nonstop flights). This would be our first flight on JB. I'm tempted to go ahead and book at $250 RT from BDL if we decide the time is what we want......Both JB and SWA have been running ~$220-250 in the past few months. Anyone think I should be patient, because you've seen good sales on JB??

I ran my search on Kayak this afternoon and found the exact flights I want for October and the tickets were only $195 each! :dance3: I really hope I find something close to that tomorrow.

Glad the Kayak thing helped someone. When I booked the next morning after previewing on Kayak the night before, everything was exactly the same on the Jetblue site as it had been on Kayak. And I was looking at a ton of different options (BDL, HPN, BOS, Newburgh, Newark, JFK . . .). My take on it was that since Jetblue sells through Kayak, they had to load it in time to be up and running on both the Jetblue and the Kayak site at the same time the next morning. Not completely sure why it is, but it is a good trick to have up your sleeve when you are obsessive about planning lke I am!
