Sorry, can't seem to find this information on the JB website. If I book a flight on JB, and at some point the cost goes down, will they give me a credit like they do on Southwest? Right now for March, the flights are cheaper from my area on JB than SW (which I usually fly). I'm flying again in the summer, so I feel "safer" booking SW as I know I can use the credit if my flight gets cheaper.

Also, do they charge you if you switch flights?

Thanks for your help!

I have flown Jet Blue frequently and my experience is that they are a true supply/demand airline. The more seats available, the cheaper the price. I've never had scenario were the flight became cheaper after I booked my flight.

Hi there, I always use Jetblue so I think I can help. You can call and ask for a credit when prices go down, they put the money in a travel bank to be used within a year. Very convenient.
If you want to change your flight time there is a 100 dollar fee but that is waived if they change your time by 30 minutes.
These rules apply to the lowest fares available when you originally booked.

I LOVE Jetblue, and haven't flown with any other airline in a good 10 years.

Their customer service is wonderful.

MikeTex is right, the fares don't technically go down. But sometimes when there's a fare sale, you can call and get a credit. I paid $339 for an upcoming trip; the fare is up to (and steady at) $475 now; one day last week they had a one day sale - that I found accidentally - and my itinerary was $299.

A couple of their recent sales, though, specifically excluded existing purchases.

Thanks for your responses! You have answered my questions....think I'll go ahead and book it, sounds great.

Jetblue credits are also a bit different then SW. The credit is good for one year from the date of the credit issuance (not original date booked like SW) and it is fully transferrable to another person.

I've always obtained credits online with JB, just by editing my flight and basically completing rebooking. A fee shows up in the initial screens but is removed and credit is applied. I've done this more than a few times.
