Jesus wasn't resurrected

Jehovah, you........ ARE the father of Mary's baby!

No disrespect meant, just the thought of God and Jesus and Mary on Maury, I can't stop giggling. :lmao: :rotfl:  :rotfl2:
Okay - which show would get higher ratings the Jesus paternity test or the Anna Nicole Smith baby paternity test? Or should they both be in the same episode of Maury? :rotfl: :rotfl:

It'll be a pay-per-view primetime sweeps special, with both DNA issues. There will be a bidding war between all the networks & the cable stations - ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, HBO, CNN, etc. Probably Howard K Smith would try to slug it out with Jehovah for where his name goes in the credits.

Btw - who wants to be the one asking God for a DNA sample?

agnes!

I will just say that the names of the involved people were very common in those days. Its probably no big stretch to think that you might find grave sites with that grouping of names on it
Just to throw another fact in ,Muslis believe Jesus is the Messiah but they don't believe he was crucified.
I thought they believed he was a Prophet but was not crucified or rose from the dean.

I'd ask him to let me swab the inside of his cheek any day, any time.

but he'd need to come forward as Jesus' baby-daddy for that to happen.

Guys, guys, we all know they got the DNA sample from the Shroud of Turin.

Actually I read a book where they found the DNA of Christ on the shroud of Turin and then made a clone of Jesus. A few years down the line, the clone turned into the anti-christ. Ironic huh. Pretty Decent series and only in three books as compared to the twelve of the Left Behind series.

Well, I wouldn't be a Christian if Jesus didn't raise from the dead.

I wouldn't worship someone b/c he was a good teacher. There were plenty of good teachers in history but I don't worship them.

I worship Jesus because he was the only teacher that was also God.

I obviously don't believe that Cameron's claims have any weight at all, but I think it's dangerous for christians to think "Well, if he's right, it won't make any difference" because really the fact that Jesus was God and raised from the dead makes all the difference.

Totally agree.

According to Bahamian law, if his name is on the birth certificate, then Jehovah IS Jesus' bio-dad.

Joseph might fight him in court though...

You got a tag for your *sigh*. :) Congrats!

LOL, I didn't even notice!

Am too busy planning this upcoming sweeps special
"Who's Your Daddy?"

with
Howard K Stern, Larry Burkhead, Jehovah, the resurrected Jesus, Mary & Joseph(who knows what condition they'll be in...), Jesus siblings, the Angel Gabriel, Danielynn, the Sobbing Judge, Vergie Arthur...

I think the tag fairy wants me to get rid of my tagless "location" :rolleyes1 .

TF - I'll get to it just as soon as I can :teeth".

agnes!

I think that this sounds interesting. I agree though that Cameron's viewpoint by itself carries no more weight than anyone else's. That is unless he brings in experts and then it might get even more interesting.

Which will be way more interesting than Cameron's movie.

Why thank you. My agent is taking meetings with some money people asap, we're expecting a bidding-war to break out.

Getting the syndication rights to all this was...well, h3ll ;) . And their green room demands! PLUS that seating chart onstage... You think rock stars are bad? Just try talking to The Almighty & his Son about their dressing rooms & required snacks! Plus that Son...all he wants is some Living Water. Sheesh.

agnes!

In order to believe what you are saying, you have to believe in the bible, not everyone does. We don't really know if the Apostles did any of these things, or that there were Apostles. You cannot disprove what Cameron is saying by using the bible. You need a better argument.
Actually, the disciples' actions after Jesus' crucifixion are documented by 1st century historian Jesefus (probably spelled that wrong). This is an independent historical document that pretty much mirrors the Bible . . . and it's not the only historical document that tells us what happened to Peter, John, and the rest.

Immediately after Christ's death, it seems that most of the disciples went back to their old lives -- Peter, for example, went back to fishing. But within a short time, they all returned to the "preaching circuit" and they were emboldened with a new spirit that they hadn't had before; they'd seen Christ resurrected, and they finally "got it". That is, they got the message he'd been sharing with them for three years. Most of them were executed for their beliefs and their actions; however, John (called the Beloved Disciple) was the longest-living apostle, and he was exiled to an island, where he penned Revelations.

Josephus really didn;t write much about Jesus and what he wrote is suspected by many,to be a forgery...Some info on Josephus
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josephus_on_Jesus#Testimonium_Flavianum

Tacitus makes the earliest reverences to Jesus ans his followers, and he like Josephus was born after Jesus' death

honestly, i just don't get why it would make a big difference if he weren't resurrected and had a child. he still did great things.

His resurrection proved He was God incarnate.

As a result of Christ's death, burial, & resurrection, we have forgiveness of sins. We are made righteous (in God's eyes) through Christ's sacrifice.

Interesting. Do you remember the name of the book?

but.....he wasn't God incarnate. he was the son of God. he wasn't God, walking the earth.
