Jersey Week airfare

Hi! All I know for sure is that I will be taking a trip next year. Right now I am tossing around dates and was thinking of possibly going Jersey week.

I'm open to fly out of EWR, LGA, JFK or PHL.

How early should I get the airfare in order to get a decent price?

Don't know about the northern AP's but for PHL as soon as they come out hasbeen the way to go for us.

Looking over old threads, buying as soon as prices come out seems to be the way to go. I just hope to have settled on a date so I can buy it immediately.

I'm trying to get airfare for January, and I'm watching the prices go up. I wanted to book a few months ago, but I was advised not to... Now I'm going to be stuck paying $260 r/t for 5 people, or more!

Our school is closed 11/8 & 11/9 for teachers' convention. Other areas are closed all week. So basically that first week in November.

Not sure what airline or airport you are flying out of, but we have always had luck booking even a month out when flying in January.

Go to Jetblue.com sign up for Trueblue (their rewards program) and you will get an email when the dates you want to travel will open (a few days to a week beforehand) check the fares, and be prepared to buy that day.
Either JFK or EWR.
