Yes I call them long-winded posts. I'm not ashamed of it! I can't stop once I start. It's madness!!!

But thank you!! I'm trying to do better about posting. We just passed the 2 month mark since the wedding.. but in my defense, we didn't get home until 9 days after the wedding. That's the excuse I'm using anyway for taking forever on my TR.

HECK YES I AM AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, also, in response to something you said earlier, Jennifer--- I can't go in the fall! I have school/teaching.

Love love love all your piccies of the animals, so cute. I love giraffes and zebras - makes me think of the Lion King.

You got to be in a parade! How cool is that... and the dessert party. Oh how I love desserts, we did it the first night we were there and looking at your pics I realise how much I enjoyed it and how I need to do it again.

I know how you feel about regrets about photos with characters at MNSSHP. We did 7 dwarves which was a must for me and I made everyone wait for Jack but that was it for me. I love your pic with Alice and the Madhatter, particulary Alice though, I think she's ace.

You guys look like you had so much fun! I can't wait to see more xx

Yes we got to be in a parade! It was SO much FUN! The DP is great. Not fighting for space to watch fireworks was the best thing! I booked us another one for the week after Christmas.

We really wanted the dwarfs pic, but what can you? Alice & the Mad Hatter were hilarious! Especially the Mad Hatter.

But we really did have a blast, and it makes me get all excited just telling everyone about!


So before I start on my latest installment for the TR.. we're going to Disney tomorrow!! We both took vacation days. We're only going overnight, but it's still a trip to Disney nonetheless. And if it's anything like the last overnighter.. we're going to get a lot done!!!

The only thing that is a definite plan is MVMCP. That's if it's not sold out. I'm supposed to be finding a hotel and buying our tickets right now. As you can tell, I'm very busy at the moment. I do have the window pulled up to a hotel website.. juuuust in case Charley walks in! (he's at softball practice)

So being aggravated with the character lines.. we went ahead to watch the parade. We didn't get a very good viewing IMO. But we didn't try to find a spot until 10 mins before it began. So whatever!

Anyway, here's some parade pics. Sorry if they're crappy, I blame those on Charley.

As you can tell from that pic, we have a huge *** umbrella in the way. Yeah great, thanks!

Since the fireworks start shortly after the parade, we figured we should make our way around to the front of the castle. I didn't care if we had to fight a crowd or not. I wanted to make sure we were going to see these fireworks!! There were people EVERYwhere. It was crazy. I'm telling you. No matter when I go to MK, it's ridiculously busy. Oh well though.

So we found us a spot.. just happened to have 2 newlyweds right beside us. I was going to congratulate them.. but it didn't sound like they were having a very good day. So I just let them be. lol

So now I'll show you our fireworks pics. The same technique was used for these... hold the camera at a certain spot and just snap away.. no looking, just snapping!! hahaha

So I'll stop there. I know you don't want to see all of my pics. lol We only took 1700 on our own camera. I would be posting FOREVER!!

Anyway.. everybody is right. The Halloween fireworks are freakin AWESOME. At the end, fireworks are shot up in a complete circle all around..well it looks like it's all around, but I don't think it actually is.

I tried to resize and rotate pics.. if it didn't work, I'm sorry. I did my best!!

And we had a GREAT time at MVMCP!! I saw Belle, but it was towards the end of the night, and they weren't allowing anyone else to get in line for pics. Not that it mattered anyway.. bc my camera died during the fireworks! So aggravating. We hadn't watched the parade yet or anything. I ended up taking pics of the parade with the phone. So you know how that goes.

With that said, I loved this parade too! The Toy Soldiers were SO cool. Everything was!! Yummy hot chocolate and cookies..and it's free.. ya can't beat that!!

After the fireworks were over, we went to Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland. Yum!

Apparently I didn't feel like Charley's meal as important enough for a pic. lol He went to a different bay, so I had already got my food and found a table before he was finished.. so I'm pretty sure he the angus cheeseburger. We both enjoyed it though. I could eat there every time we go to MK. I'm just that easy breezy with food. lol

After we finished eating, we went to the front of the castle to get ready for the last parade. We were actually wanting to see the Villains stage show. We just got over there early enough to watch the parade again. And that was cool with me!

And now the 2nd parade. I'll try to only post pics of stuff I didn't get in the 1st parade. Except for the parts I really enjoyed!

I found this part to be slightly risque!! haha The skirts were very short.. and at time me and Charley could've sworn we saw them bumping & grinding on the characters during the dancing!! LOL

So that's all of the parade. Again, it was great. It just really sucks that you have to waste so much of the event time sitting on a curb, so you can see the parade or fireworks without giant trees or big heads in the way!! hahaha

So then we waited for a few more mins for the Villains show to start. I, of course, did what anybody does while they're standing in front of the castle.. took more pics of the castle. As if I didn't already have enough. I don't think you could ever have enough pics of the castle! Even if they're of crappy quality! haha

I don't remember how long we waited, but the show finally started!

We were going to try for pics with the Villains, but there was no way. It was already so late, and we didn't want to wait in anymore lines. As soon as the show was over with, people swarmed together to form the lines. We just couldn't do it. We decided to go ahead and leave.

I think we took these Photopass pics around the time we ate. I can't really remember. I just know I haven't posted them yet.

So like I said, we left!

We had to take the ferry back. It was ridiculously packed out and very irritating. Did I mention I hate waiting on things?? lol

We went back to the resort and got ready for bed. As usual, we still had a little energy.. so like the homebodies we are, we watched a little tv!!! Then we went to bed.

Wednesday, September 21st, 2011

So we were able to sleep in a little bit later than we had been. Our reservations weren't until 9:15am at Cape May Cafe. Yay!! Another character meal. I don't know if it's ok for 2 adults, without kids, to like eating with people dressed in costume.. but I really don't care! LOL

So we got ready and made sure we had everything with us this time!

We drove to the Beach Club, like we drove everywhere else. We were just going to leave the car there and take the boat to HS after we finished eating. We got to the resort and got checked in. We had to wait a few mins, but not too long. We just say on 1 of the couches in the lobby. We wanted to save our energy for walking around the park.

So our buzzer went off after a short wait, and we were seated. Our table was right beside the door the servers and characters come in and out of. Anyway.. we got our plates fixed. I forgot to take a pic of mine before I ate it.. and then when I went back again.. forgot that pic too.

But I was able to take a pic of Charley's food. He was always reminding me that I forgot to take my food pic! lol

My 1st plate was very similar, but I didn't have that sausage.. I had bacon.

It didn't take very long before we spotted Donald coming our way!!

I'm guessing this ones payback for all of the crappy pics he's taken of me.

Then Minnie came around!

Then Charley was snapping pics.

Our server, a very nice lady whose name I can't remember... brought us a free congrats cupcake after we finished eating. It was so good!!!

The a very sweet gentleman at the table next to us, asked us if we wanted our pic taken eating the cupcake.. DUH!! Thanks guy!!

We sat our table a while waiting for Goofy.. but we didn't feel any kind of pressure to hurry up and leave. That was really good, because I wasn't moving! We finally spotted him though..

Goofy is such a funny guy!!!

By the time Goofy made it to us.. Donald was right behind, so we took a few more pics.

Minnie just wants you to tell Mickey to get her a ring?!?!

Cape May Cafe was awesome. The food was really good.. of course it's really hard to mess up breakfast. Not saying that it couldn't happen!

We would definitely eat there again.

And like I've previously said.. please excuse Charley's "messed up" face!!! LOL He really hates the flash on the camera. It's ridiculous. I told him he needs to practice holding his eyes open. It just doesn't work!

-So I think a 3rd roommate should also be added.. and it's the baby elephant. He is so cute!! I took a few secs of video of him Friday. I'm going to try and get it uploaded, so I can post it. I'm in love with it!
-Coffee is very important! That's 1 of the reasons I like going on any kind of vacation.. especially Orlando. There's so many Starbucks!!
-It's my fault the camera died. I took video the whole time the Memories show was going on.
-Not a fan of Country Bears. I was like.. please just stop..
-I liked the Villains show. It was pretty snazzy! I don't remember if there was fishnets.. but I do remember a bunch of spandex leggings. That's definitely a no-no.
-I'm pretty sure we don't look all that scared in our "look scared" pics!
-Cape May was really cool. If yall have a break during the time your there, or cancel a reservation.. whatever.. you should check it out. But I love any of the character dining. I'll sit and eat bread and butter to get a easy pic like that!!
-Goofy is very goofy. There was another couple a few booths down from us. I'm pretty sure they didn't speak any English. They wanted both of their pics taken with Goofy, so he was trying to get someone to help them. Everybody was laughing. Then he kept rushing a lady that was at the buffet, because it was their turn for pics. Very entertaining.

As we were getting ready to leave Cape May Cafe, our server brought us a Congrats card signed by Goofy, Donald, and Minnie!! So sweet!!

Since we were going to HS, we decided to take the boat. Yes.. you heard right, we didn't drive our car. I know, it's miracle!! lol

So I took this pic for Jackie!!

Once we got inside, we stopped for Photopass pics. And I'll say it now. It was hot as hell! I'm not joking. I think this was the hottest day so far. Pretty miserable!!!

Here's some pics though.. excuse my shininess.. I have to wear sunblock!!

Charley said his side of the heart looked better. lol He's correct. But it's hard to do that with the major height difference.

The Disney Channel rocks parade thingie was coming through as we walked in.

We went straight back to ToT. This was my 1st time in this park.. so 1st time riding. Charley rode way back when.. as a wee little lass!! haha

He's not drunk, I promise!! hahaha

Then we went to Rock N Roller Coaster!! We love roller coasters..and this 1 didn't disappoint!!

We walked around a bit. We was just really hot, and there were TONS of people. They were everywhere. I get that claustrophobic feeling around a lot of people.

Then we were just like.. screw it.. We're leaving. We weren't having any fun. I know this is shocking. I don't know if we were just really tired... or burning up from the intense heat outside.. I don't know. We were just ready to go back to the room.

-I agree. The Baby Elephant needs a home. Poor Eeyore will be like a den mother.
-Do you not have a lot of Starbuckses near you? I didn’t in my hometown either--- we actually really only had one nearby for years, and it was in a casino and so it was a PIA to get to. Then I moved to Milwaukee and there are a BAJILLION. Seriously. You could move here and sleep on my couch and Charley can have the floor.
-The Villains show I saw was just, like, kind of sexual. Maybe I caught it on an off night.

Now, onto the posts!
-YAYYYYYY IT’S SEA BREEZE POINT! Hey, I’m getting married there. And so did you! In case you forgot.
-Yeah, that heart does NOT look easy for you two to do! How much of a height difference is between you? Chris and I are only a few inches.
-TOT scares the beejesus out of me, but it’s really fun. I had only been on it once prior to our trip in 2010, but then we worked up our courage and Chris LOVES it now. And the gift shop is awesome.
-I TOTALLY agree with leaving when you’re not having any fun. If you’re not having fun, you leave! No sense in suffering.
-I hate public pools.
-And you looked at animals?!?! WHAT?!?!?! I’m so funny.

-I think they will be 1 big happy family. The baby rhino and elephant will steal Eeyore's tail.. It will be a blast for them. Until my cocker spaniel pees on them, that is!!
-No Starbucks!!! It's so depressing. There's 1 in my hometown, about 30 mins away. And then there's 2 in the next city over from us, about 45 mins away. Not that far.. but far enough that I can't just go on the way to work. I think I should move up there.. just to be near more Starbucks. Or Orlando.. there's TONS there too.
-Well yes, the Villains were slightly sexual.. but I guess it wasn't any worse than the chicks bumping and grinding on the Country Bears.

-I knew you would like that pic.
-That heart was def not easy to accomplish. The photographer could've told me to angle it better though. I would've at least tried! lol Charley is 6'1", and I'm 4'10.5" (yes that .5 is worth mentioning)
-We love ToT. It's so much fun. I tried to record video with the phone this past weekend on that and Rock N Roller Coaster.. didn't so much work all that well. haha
-Yes, staying when you're not having any fun only makes the day get worse. At least in my experience it does.
-Public pools just have too many public people in them. lol That's why we always rent a pool home for 4th of July break.
-Don't judge me. The animals loved me, and I was becoming 1 with nature.

We got back to the resort, and I went to take some pics of the animals. Charley just kind of walked around the area. lol

I think it's so funny to watch the giraffe get down to drink water.. but then it's really sad when you think about the whole lengthy dangerous process, just to get something to drink.

Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 (cont)

So we got back up to the room. Like I said.. for some reason it was just an off day. Don't know why. It just was. We had reservations at The Wave at 7:35pm. I regret doing so now, but we cancelled our reservations. I just didn't feel like getting dressed and going over there.

We decided we would rest for a while and then go back to DTD. We had been 2 times already... the 1st time of a blur cause we were in a hurry getting wedding stuff. The 2nd time was with my siblings and spouses.. and you read how that went. We wanted to go back, just us 2. So like the old people we are, we fixed a pot of coffee.. sat on the balcony and watched the animals. It was nice... really nice. We are definitely buying in DVC after we get our car paid off. We have like a year left on that.. so YAY!!! And Charley is in total agreement with it! Even better that I don't have to force him! haha

So here's some pics of the animals I took while we drank our coffee... if they're blurry, Charley took them. Don't forget that little fact. hahaha

-We don't have a pool either. That's why we like the pool homes in Orlando! You can find really good deals for some really nice places. We've been renting homes for around 8 yrs or so. You can find a nice one.. with pool and game room for $600++++. Just depends on how big you want it to be.
-Charley judges me every time I log onto this site. He's like "didn't you already get married?"

-If they put something at AKL for weddings after I've already had been... I'd be so ! But it really would be a lovely location!!
-I just wanted to see the Contemporary Resort.. but there's plenty of time for that.
-DTD is really cool. The honeymoon was the 1st time either 1 of us had been there. We had a lot of fun. And double boooo to student loans!!

So I'm officially off of work until we go back Monday morning. I'm going to try my best to finish up this TR. I know I still have vendor reviews to do... I was trying to wait until we received everything.. but we're still waiting on some things from Disney.

Just got all caught up from my last visit here.

Wow!!! What an amazing honeymoon!!! Wow again!!

A couple of comments --

You did 3 of our favorite character breakfasts. We adore Crystal Palace. It was our first ever character meal back in 2003 and holds a very special place in our hearts. Plus we love the Puffed French Toast!! Favorite Food item ever!
Paul and I don't have kids either (not going to either) and we love character meals. It's not weird to do them without kids and we swear that the characters have more fun with us.

The parade was so awesome!!! Great job!

Love, love, love the juice at both Boma and TH. We also fell in love with the juice at 1900 Park Fare in June. YUM! We are planning on serving it at our reception.

Jackie is awesome!! She is one my only regulars too!

I love HIMYM as well. Did you see this Monday's episode?????? ***???

Donald and Daisy are our favorites. Great shots with them. They will be at our reception along with the special juice.

Can't wait for more. Happy First Married Thanksgiving!

Paul and I don't have kids either (not going to either) and we love character meals. It's not weird to do them without kids and we swear that the characters have more fun with us.

Love, love, love the juice at both Boma and TH. We also fell in love with the juice at 1900 Park Fare in June. YUM! We are planning on serving it at our reception.

-Thanks! We thought it was a pretty darned good honeymoon ourselves.
-We're pretty sure when we make reservations from now on.. they will be character meals. We're like big kids. I'm about the size of a mid-size child too.. so it works out!! I think the characters act a totally different way with the adults than with the children. My dad told me the other day that Minnie told him he was crazy when they were dancing after the wedding. I thought that was really funny!
-The parade was great. We had a blast.
-I could drink that juice at every meal.. all day long.. whatever!! It's delicious! I wish we would've known about it before the wedding. We would've definitely had it at our brunch. Good shot on getting that one!
