Forgot to post our view at Cosmic Ray's while we were eating lol

After we finished eating, we went on Buzz Lightyear! Again, I love this ride! We had a lot of fun and laughed the whole.. which we normally do on any ride we go on! But as with all ride, this 1 came to an end... and who was the winner?!?! ME!!! Yeah!!! Of course I rub it in, like I always do!

We still had time to kill before Space Mountain, so we just walked around the shops in the area checking stuff out. But before long.. it was time!! I LOVE SM!! (notice a trend here?) How can you not be happy and excited while on SM? I just don't know. But here we are afterwards..

No, you're not drunk... we're just blurry! haha

Next up.. the tea cups! Yay!!

We never do the tea cups. Charley hates spinning! Beats me people. So we get on.. but 1st decide we're not going to spin too much. We did just eat. Anywayyy.. we're laughing.. we're spinning. Charley stops spinning and just lays back, so I take over and keep spinning and spinning and spinning!! Needless to say, we both almost fell out of our tea cup at the end! LOL

And yes, I almost choked on my veil.. I was laughing so hard!

Then we made our way around to Fantasyland. We took pics with the pics!

Then off to PhilarMagic.. which I'm sure you can guess... I love!! hahaha So I sang along, like everyone does. And not just me, Charley was too! lol Good times, and it was a great time to cool off for a second. But this time it was SUPER freakin HOT! More blurry pics!

I hate 3D glasses! They never fit me right. I end up having to old them on instead of wearing them.

Then we were off to Snow White.

Fun times.. but no really.. It was a chance to sit down in this crowded *** place! No offense to any of you moms (or dads) out there, but there were buggies EVERY WHERE!!! And people kept running over me and into me! AHHHH Drive me batty!

But then we had to pop back to "the wall" and take our pic with Beast!

Me and Charley were taking pics of each other with Beast.. but a couple of cast members (both male) came walking by and 1 of them asked if we would like him to take our pic together with Beast. Well duh dude!! We sure do!

He's like.."ok don't get too close together, you did just get married!!" hahaha I told him the whole point was for Beast to be in the damn pic! LOL

So then we went to Pooh.. which I also love! I love anything Pooh. And not just Pooh himself.. all of them! lol I'm pretty sure we had to get a Fastpass for this 1 too.

Beautiful.. I'm even reading The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh on my Iphone! hahaha LAME!

Ok anyway.. so according to my pics, it was time for the Haunted Mansion!! I had never been on here before.. I know, shocker right. But every time we came before, it was down for renovations! So I was super excited and couldn't wait.. especially since I had already seen it when we did our bridal pics. I wasn't disappointed either! I loved it! I would seriously love to work on this ride. I can be really creepy too, believe me. hahaha

I don't really remember what time it was when we got done with the HM. We walked around for a little bit longer and took Photopass pics as we passed people. But then we left. We wanted to get back to the room, so we could shower and change for dinner. Our 1st character meal... The Crystal Palace!!

I ran out of room for Photopass pics in the last post, so here they are.

So like I said.. we went back to our room to relax for few and get showers and all that jazz! Our reservations at Crystal Palace were for 7:55pm. I don't remember what time we left the resort to head back to MK, but we felt a little rushed. I just knew how packed out the park had been earlier!

We had took the monorail every other time, so we decided to take the ferry back this time.

Of course we got there and it was ridiculously busy still!! Go home kids! hahahahaha We went straight to the Crystal Palace so we could check in. Now this was the 1st reservation we had ever had at Disney. We didn't know you could check in way early and crap like that. So it was pretty close to our time when we got there. And I must say, I knew it was going to be busy since it was character dining.. but woowee there was a LONG line of people waiting to check in. They finally just hollered out if anyone was waiting in line to try and get a walk in, they might as well leave. They weren't excepting anyone else!!

We got in line and waited with everyone else. It wasn't so bad. The line moved pretty fast. We got our little buzzer thingie and hung out in the area. We couldn't sit on the patio.. cause you couldn't see the patio!! lol So we went to take pics of the castle.

We might have waited 10-15 mins or so, and our buzzer was buzzing! It was time to see Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet!!! We met our server, who was extremely nice. She sat us facing the castle!! And we had pretty confetti on our table (which I took for our scrapbook). She told us to hit the buffet and everyone would make their way around to us.

Here's the only food pic I took. I did terribly at this. I promise to do better on future trips though!

Everything was delicious though, and we both went up there multiple times. Of course, we weren't eating here for the food. It was for the characters. So here's some of our pics!

So we're having dinner with Pooh & Friends!!

I don't know how long we were here. It seemed like a very long time. I'm sure in some of those pics, you see the little blond haired girls.. they were so funny!! They would almost tackle the characters when they came around for the pics. We laughed at them.. they would still be holding on to a leg once the character made it to our table!! Luckily 1 of their dads was nice enough to snap some pics of me and Charley together with the characters.

We also had a couple on each side of us that did the same thing.. and we took their pics in return! It's nice to have nice people around to help out! lol We did get a pic of 1 of the guys, but not his girlfriend. They didn't speak English, but we understand them well enough.

We were ready to get back to the room, so we left the park after this... but I did take a couple of pics on the way out.

We took the ferry and got in our car and went back to our room. We just hung out together, watched a little tv.. and went to bed. Yes I know we're boring old folks.. we like our energy for the parks! lol We're not big nightlife people.

We didn't set our alarm for a certain time this morning. We were in no kind of rush to run out.. because today we were packing up and moving to AKV-Jambo!! We were so freaking excited, it was ridiculous.

We got up and got ready.. and made sure everything was packed and ready to go. After a very long and heated discussion, we decided to cancel our couples massage at Mandara. This was so disappointing. We had gotten our bill that morning.. and while we didn't spend as much as we thought we had..we knew we still had 6 whole days to go!! Damn sure couldn't run out of money! lol

I called the Mandara.. maybe got a little snippy with the woman who answered. We were within 4 hours of our appt time, so by the policies.. we should have paid for the massages. I told her we were leaving, and that nobody explained the cancellation policy when I booked the massages.. so we didn't get charged! Thank God. If we were going to be charged anyway, we would've gotten the massages. Duh! What kind of stupid crap is that anyway? haha

Anyway.. crisis averted! So we decided we were going to go down to the bakery and use up our snack credits. I took a couple of pics in the lobby on the way through. It really sucked that we weren't able to enjoy everything at the Boardwalk more while we were staying right there. That darn wedding business took up so much time. LOL

We both got a soft drink.. I got a cinnamon roll and Charley got something boring.. like a plain bagel or something. I took a couple of pics of the cakes they had on display too.

BTW, this was the view from our balcony at the BWV. I finally found the pic. I took it on the last day there! lol

We took our goodies back to the room so we could eat. While I was finishing up, Charley went out to the parking lot to bring the car to the lobby entrance. We got our bags in the car by ourselves this time. We were only like 4 doors from the lobby, I think that was manageable.

So we made our way over to AKV-Jambo!! WooHoo!! I apologize now for the overabundance of pics!!! LOL

We pulled up to the lobby, and I went to go ahead and check in. Our room was ready! Charley got the luggage taken care of with the bellhop... and we headed up to our room.. on the 5th floor!! AHH!!

We went back to our room after Fabio dropped us off. Since we really didn't have anything else planned... we thought we'd hit up the pool. So we got our swimsuits on.. but 1st I had to go out on the balcony and see if there were any animals out on our side yet. Well.. this is what we saw...

It was raining... major bummer! It wasn't the kind of rain they kick you out of the pool for.. but rain nonetheless. So here we are in our swimsuits. Please excuse the hot *** mess that is me in a swimsuit!!!

Excuse the gut shot scars too!! It's from my gall bladder surgery. lol

But on the plus side.. we had animals!!! Not a lot, but they were there. I won't bore you with the gazillion pics I took of them.

Since we weren't going swimming anymore, we decided to walk around the resort and check out the different views of the animals.

Here were are at the end of our hallway.. before we had to walk back to the room because I forgot something. (which became a trend.. EVERY SINGLE time we left)

Then we walked around the resort... through the lobby, around Boma, out by the savannah off the lobby, by the pool.. just checking things out!

So just to update on the photography situation.. there was contact at the beginning of the week with Karen regarding the mishap. Some exchanges back and forth.. but still no mention of when my prints would be shipped. Ugh!! Irritating as hell. I told her we definitely wanted to buy the high resolution disk, but I didn't want to purchase it until we received those prints. I want to make sure I have them.. that I know they're there.. even though they're on the website. I just don't want to get the disk and it be messed up like the website was, and now the prints. Ya know?!

Anyway.. moving on..

So we couldn't really hang out in the room long.. or linger around the lobby. We might have cancelled the massages, but we still had the limo from the package for 4 hours. We already knew there was no way we'd use the entire 4 hours. We barely wanted it for an hour... but we weren't going to give it up. lol So we got everything in order in the room and headed to the lobby. I wanted to take a few pics of the savannah and the lobby!! The limo was picking us up at 12, so we had about 30 mins.

Aren't the animals so pretty?!?! I'm pretty sure when we buy into DVC, that this will definitely be the resort we choose... if still available. I just love the animals!! So like I said..and have forewarned.. if you don't like the animals, I suggest you not read the rest of my TR.

FYI: that smallest giraffe is a little over a year old! How freakin cute is that?!

So after Charley pulled me away from the critters, we went out front to wait for our ride. I was wondering how they would know who we were. (Not like my bride ears were going to give me away lol) There was a limo out there already.. a nice 1! Then the driver got out and he had sign... with our name!! It was our limo driver.. Fabio! hahaha No joke.. that was really his name. Super nice guy though!!

We decided to continue on with the plans, minus the massages. We had him drop us off at The Swan. We wanted to check out the surroundings and just walk around for a bit. We had been at the park almost everyday or running around doing wedding stuff. It was nice to relax, even if it was only for a little while.

Here's a couple of pics I took of the event that was going to take place on the beach. Looked like a pretty decent sized event by the number of tables.

So we just circle all around The Swan and Dolphin, the Yacht and Beach Clubs.. and then turned back around. The whole damn excursion took less than an hour. lol So much for wasting time. It was just too hot to be walking around without a purpose. We decided to go back to the lobby at The Swan. It was so nice, quiet, and cool... and I mean quiet!!! The lobby at AKV was pretty noisy. So this was a major change.

We went in and sat on 1 of the couches and just lounged for a minute... and when I say a minute.. I mean like a minute. Both of us started to get really sleepy just sitting there. All of that running around was definitely starting to get to us. So Charley got our Fabio's card and gave him a call!

He was right outside in the parking lot, so we hopped right in. He asked if we wanted to go anywhere else. We told him we did not. He seemed like he was quite surprised that we weren't using up the whole 4 hours. Sorry, just couldn't do it. I could've maybe just napped in there for 4 hours?? lol So he just dropped us back of at AKV. Charley managed to snap a pic of the car before he got away.

So we were making our way around the lobby, inside and outside.

I know, I know.. a few too many animal pics. I can't help it people. I seriously have a problem!!!

As much fun as we were having running around the resort.. it was about time to get back to our room. We had to shower and get ready for dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe! Woohoo! I was ready for some steak! lol

I really wasn't sure what to wear though. I knew it was really dressy, but I didn't want to be too casual.. Hell who knows! So we drove to the GF. I will say we got a little turned around, but we managed to find our way. Walking up to the lobby.. both of our jaws kind of dropped. This resort is beautiful. And while it's beautiful.. I don't think I'd ever stay there. No offense to all of you who love it.. it was just a little too much for me!

We made our way to the Cafe and checked in. They told us it would be a minute, so we walked around.

It really ended up being like a minute. lol We made it out the door, and our buzzer went off. Time to go eat!! We had a decent seat. An awesome server!! And I mean awesome! He was really attentive and made sure we didn't go without.

We both ordered the steaks. We love steak. Charley was going to try something else but decided he wanted the steak as well. Of course I forgot to take a pic before we started.. but here's 1 during!! lol

YUM!! It was delicious!! I loved the steak, and the mashed potatoes. Not a fan of the veggies. Charley ate those though. He loves those crunchy veggies. I'm more of a mushy veggie girl. lol Overcooked all the way for me!! I drank the pomegranate lemonade, and Charley had a soda, I think. The lemonade was fab!!

Then it was time for dessert. I don't know where we were supposed to put that! We decided to go with the sampler. Some of it was good.. but most of it was way too rich for me!! The chocolate Mickey was super cool though. We were texting my mom pics of the food all night!

After some discussions with our server during the meal, we decided to hop on the monorail and head to MK for Wishes!!

So like I said, we took the monorail to MK. We weren't even thinking about EMH. We really should've been. The park was ridiculously crowded!!!

We found us a spot to watch Memories and Wishes...

-Yes I won at Buzz!! I also never win.. so I kind of rubbed that in! Payback's a ***** though....
-haha Some of our pics are quite blurry. You would think WE were drunk. I'll admit, Charley isn't the best at focusing a camera and getting a decent pic. I usually end up getting pissed!!
-The Prince is quite dreamy. That's why I felt I must take his pic for you.
-I also love that pic of us with Beast! That guy was hilarious. Both of of the CMs were probably in there early 20s. It looked like they were walking around on their break or going to man their posts? Who knows? He asked to take the pic.. we accepted. They thought it was so funny that we stayed separated and didn't get all up on each other.
-I had NEVER been on the HM before. Surprising, I know. But like I said.. I had only been to MK a couple of times before the wedding, and the HM was always down for maintenance. But it's ok.. I've been shown the light, or the darkness.. whichever you prefer!! I LOVED it though.
-I know! How cool are the Photopass borders for Halloween?! Totally awesome. How did you like our "scary" picture???
-I really like how the B&W ones come out.
-haha I don't make up the poses. I just do what they tell me. Apparently they've worked at a few schools though, huh??
-Charley said the ears stayed on better if he had the hat on, because he was totally refusing to use the chin strap!
-I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pooh with the groom ears!!! So freakin cute I could just eat him up!
-I love Eeyore too!! We have so much in common! lol
-I'm glad we didn't get charged for them either. That would've been right at $400.
-I think you should have a bride's cake! I saw that one up there, and I told Charley I needed my camera. I had to take a pic of the Belle cake for Jackie!! hahaha
-I fell in love with AKL as soon as we pulled up! It was awesome. Def where I would want my DVC home to be.
-The baby giraffe could've came home with me and stayed in my backyard. His name is simply Baby!! "come here lil Baby.. I want to take your picture one hundred million times please"
-HAHAHA I love Dory! Fabio really was his name though.

-Yes I should've just stayed by 1 of the tables until it started!
-Thanks missy!! How do you like my gut scars?!?! Those were supposed to be faded by that time.. and what do you know, you can still see them just as good as you could then.
-We loved the GF cafe and would def eat there again. Made me wish we would've just had a lunch there after our ceremony and went with the DP instead. Oh well..
-The Mickey was really cool. I wanted to take him with me, but we had no way to transport and keep him from melting. I tasted a piece of his ear, but I don't like dark chocolate.
-The sweater thingie is just like a wrap type deal with sleeves, that has the long pieces in the front that kind of have a scarfy type look?! Anyway, it was a Target special.. like $13 or something like that.

Now I have fully responded to your responses, I'm going to try to post some more while Charley sleeps and watches football.

So as you can tell by that pic, we were the only people on this huge section of the monorail. It was cool though. We were able to take those sad looking pics of us after a looooong day!!

Anyway, we pretty much went back to the room and lounged, watching a little tv. We stayed up way to late, but eventually went to bed around midnight.


Monday, September 19th, 2011

We got up around 6:30am and took our showers. Of course while I'm in there, Charley yells that there is finally a zebra outside. Yay!!! I had to hurry up and get dressed before I went out there. They make it a point to note on the paperwork in the room that there are cameras on the buildings... make sure you close your blinds if you don't want anything to be recorded!!

Charley was rushing me to finish getting ready. We were having breakfast at Tusker House!! We were so excited, since we had so much fun at the Crystal Palace. So we finished all of that, made sure we had on our Just Married pins, and had our passes!! We took off for the lobby, but first I had to go out and take some pics of the savannah in the morning!

Of course we drove to AK. We drove everywhere we went. It was early, so we got a very good parking spot. I made sure to note our parking area on the phone before we left the parking lot every single time!! We get very forgetful when we're in the park for so long.

So we went into the park and went straight to Tusker House to check in. There weren't a lot of people there yet... but there was 1 very rude older lady in front of us. She was complaining that she needed a spot to park her husband's electric wheelchair thing, so it wouldn't get wet. They wanted to park it in a completely inconvenient spot. 1 of the CMs was an older gentleman who was very nice to them, but very kindly told them they couldn't park it where they wanted. The older lady blew up at this time, saying that the CM shrugged his shoulders.. as if saying that he didn't care if there wheelchair got wet and ruined (she actually said all of this). The CM that was in charge finally told her they could park it behind the podium. So they proceed to park the wheelchair thisfar from the podium. (there's no space to show that's how far it was haha) Then they went on around the corner towards the entrance. The managing CM moved the chair a little, so it was out of there way. Crazy situation.. but we were moving on?? Or were we??

Charley and I got ourselves checked in and had a seat until our buzzer buzzed.

While we were sitting there, the old lady comes back to the podium and circles the older gentleman CM until she can see his nameplate. She made it a point to let him know that's what she was doing!! We were completely shocked.. as were the other CMs and guests. The woman was totally out of line. They didn't do anything wrong and did their best to accommodate the whole family. But in their defense, the daughter kept telling her mom to come on and drop it. Oh well. What can you? It's family! lol

So moving on from rude old ladies... hahaha we weren't really sure where we were supposed to be waiting, so we went around to the where the entrance was.

Donald was out there taking pics with everyone as they entered the restaurant. Sweet! We went up there even though we hadn't been buzzed yet. They just kept note of who we were. So we got our pic with Donald.

Our buzzer went off like right after that. It was finally time to go in. We were seated in a pretty good spot and could already see Goofy walking around. We went ahead and got our plates fixed before anyone could come for pictures.

The food was delicious!! I loved the bacon. I don't know why everyone says the bacon isn't good. I loved it, and Charley did too. And you can't go wrong with Mickey waffles. And the juice!! OMIGOD!! Heaven in a cup. Me and Charley drank tons of that. The coffee.. VERY strong.

Waiting for someone to come around

WooHoo!! Here comes Mickey!

Next up was Daisy

The Goofy came around. He's SOOO TALL! Our server was around at this time, so he said he would take a pic for us. This is what we got....

Thanks guy.. don't quit your day job!! haha No seriously, he really was a good server. He just didn't take very good pics.

Then all of the character and kids went around the restaurant doing a conga line.

As with the other character dining restaurant, Charley took pics of other families, so they could all be in them! Isn't he just the sweetest?! lol

PS.. I'm trying to rein myself in, and not be so detailed.. just giving the highlights. I'm not quite sure if it's working though....

After we finished eating we went to grab a fastpass for the safari. The line wasn't ridiculously long, but we just didn't feel like waiting. We went through the trails nearby while we waited for our time to come up. I will once again apologize for the extreme amount of pics coming up. We spent 45 mins trying to get pics of the baby gorilla. He was so freakin cute, I couldn't help myself. I will say Charley got mighty frustrated with me at this time. But what can you do?! haha

Don't you just want to give that baby a big ol kiss??? I sure do! lol

Good job. I was just about to post the next part, but I'll respond 1st.. then go eat!! Then I'll post the next part.
-Target is great!
-Dark chocolate isn't very yummy to me. I'd rather have milk chocolate.
-I so want to buy into AKL.
-The scars are there.. 3 of them.

-I did forget quite a few times and walked around the room in my underwear and bra with the curtains opened!! hahaha
-The zebras and giraffes and any kind of monkey type animal are my favs!
-The bulls were crazy large.
-That woman seriously just needed to eat a Snickers or something. She was being a total diva!
-I have Photopass pics of that pic also coming up.
-The coffee was really strong!
-haha I don't drink. I was going to try something sometime during the honeymoon trip, but that never happened. I think someone was slipping something into our juice!
-I like sharing all of the details to be honest. It's hard to cut them out.

I thought that was so cool that they gave us those pics. I mean we were spending like $30 for them.. but whatever. We didn't carry them around the park with us though. We had them sent to our resort since we were going to be there the whole week!

So anyway... we were just leaving the gorillas! It was time for our safari! I just love the safari! You will notice that I have an intense love for the animals. I can't stop taking pics of them. It's like some kind of OCD.

So off to the safari. The Fastpass line was pretty much a walk-on. Thank the Lord! For someone who LOVES theme parks, I DESPISE standing in line. I mean seriously..even for 20 mins. I just dislike it so much.

I think we were seated somewhere near the back. I can't remember if we were in the very back or not. We usually are. I know some woman tried to get in our row with us. She had like 2 or 3 kids, plus another adult. They were trying to cram into our row.. I wasn't budging though. The CM told them they had to wait anyway. It's only like 5 people to a row, and they had that many themselves! So we had our row all to ourselves! (How do you like a whole paragraph on the row we sat in on a damn ride.. I told you, I just can't help myself!!)

Off we go on our safari!! I'm refraining from posting ALL of the pics I took.

Maybe it's just me.. but the elephants look like they're smiling!! lol

Next we went to Camp Minnie Mickey. In case you're wondering, we wanted to make sure we got pics (and autographs) with as many characters as could.

I'll post the pics we took, and if there was a Photopass person there, I'll post their pics as well.

These were the cutest little boys! It was their birthdays. As you can tell, they're twins. They were just the sweetest things when it came time to get their pics taken. (This is big positive coming from me, cause I'm so not a kid person.)

Chip & Dale were hilarious!! They kept trying to take me off to be with them instead of Charley. Then they tried to jack my ring!!! hahahaha

So after we took all of those wonderful pics, we moved on. As we were walking, we noticed this was the perfect time to get our pics taken with Pooh and friends!! So we started that way. We took some pics along the way.. mostly Photopass posted here though.

As you can tell, we were able to get a lot of really good Photopass pics that didn't have tons of people standing around in them. AK wasn't that busy on any of the days that we went there.

So like I said.. on to see Pooh and friends! Here we are walking down the path leading to our next round of pics and autographs.

Luckily there weren't many people in line. The characters did have to take breaks shortly after we got in line though. The other 1s continued taking pics and everyone just waited for the missing 1 to come back.

I took this 1 while we were waiting in line. I love Eeyore. He's so darn cute!

Then we got started making our way through the characters.. patiently waiting our turns.

Then we were off to the Tree of Life. We really didn't care too much about riding rides this day. So we just went on everything we wanted to ride once. Even though we could've went multiple times.. the lines were that short!

Monday, September 19th, 2011 (cont)

So we walked around the Tree of Life, taking pics of all the different animals. I've tried to explain to the people at work, who've never been to Disney, what the tree looks like. The pics help out as a reference! lol I'm going to post some of them..and I know this may look like a lot, but it comparison to how many I took.. it's a small amount!

Then we saw a couple of girls that didn't speak any English, but that was ok. It's not hard to understand that someone wants you to take a pic of them. They were asking us, not the other way around. lol So I took their pic, and they asked if we wanted 1. So of course we said yes!

At some during the day, we also rode Everest, and Dinosaur. I can't remember the details though. Now, I'm starting to think we didn't ride Everest.. I can't be for sure though. Lord have mercy, my memory is leaving me. There is a break in our pictures, so apparently I didn't take any for a while. That's why I can't "remember" anything during that time frame.

Anyway, I do know that we rode Dinosaur for sure. It was while we were in line for this ride, not long after we made it into the circle room with the big dino in the middle, that our phone died. I don't mean died as in battery died. I mean I was on FB while we were waiting.. I locked the phone and put it in my pocket so I could help Charley put something in our bag (we had water and snacks in our bag when we went to the parks). I pulled the phone back out, and it wouldn't come back on! I was beyond pissed. I'm not a phone geek or anything, but the iPhone isn't cheap by any means. Not to me anyway. Charley said to let it go..maybe it was just dead and needed to charge. So I let it go.. but I secretly stewed about it and let it put me in a bad mood. UGH!

But moving on.. we rode Dinosaur, which as I've mentioned before.. I love! I giggled the whole team even though I was ill. lol Charley and I always laugh the whole time we're riding rides. I don't know if anyone else does that. I just think it's so fun that I can't help myself! haha

So after we got off Dinosaur, we were trying to decide what we were going to do. We were both still aggravated about the phone, but what can you do?! We finally decided that we would just head back to the resort and rest before we went to the dessert party at MK later that night. So we started towards the exit.

On the way to the exit, we ran into a CM by the name of Brandon.. I think! Don't quote me on that. He asked what we were planning for the rest of the day. We told him we didn't really have anything planned. He asked if we would be in the park for the parade. We told him that we would, even though we had just decided that we were leaving. Anyway...he said that he saw us that morning walking around, and he thought if he saw us again... that he would ask us to be in the parade!!! He wanted to know if we wanted to ride on the lead float with Rafiki!! Are you kidding me?!?! Of course we want to ride in the parade.

We didn't really have that long until the parade was to start. We decided we would get an ice cream and sit down to enjoy it. I got the Mickey head ice cream thingy but didn't know that it was dark chocolate. It was ok though. The dark chocolate wasn't so bad with the ice cream. After we got done with those, we made our way towards the safari entrance. It was near here that we were to meet "Brandon" for the parade rules. We sat in 1 of the little covered areas between the standby entrance and the Fastpass entrance.

We made small talk with a Mom that was sitting there with her kids running back and forth.. no really, they were pretty good kids. The mom did keep pouring water over the little girls head (she was younger than 2.5, that's all I can offer). She said the child liked it! lol It was hot though. So she could've poured water on my head, and I would've liked it!! hahaha Anyway, she was congratulating us on getting married. They were celebrating their anniversary.. with their kids. Fun times!! jk Funny thing was there was another couple sitting there with us. They had on Just Married pins but no ears. So wear the ears and the pins people!! They make a difference.

So finally it was time to go meet "Brandon". We saw a group standing off to the side, but we weren't sure if that was where we were supposed to be. We kind of just stood off to the side until they told us to come over there. There were about 5 other families. Something like that. There were probably 3 families from Georgia, including me and Charley. Cool! They explained how everything was going to work. We weren't allowed to take pics behind the scenes. We could take all of the pics we wanted once the float started out through the gate, and when we made it back through the gate at the end. We could get off the float and stand right by the gate and take pics of the floats coming back in.. that's it!!

They told us to make sure we wave and smile the WHOLE time we were out there. Sounds simple enough. We were told there would be a Photopass person at 2 different locations during the parade.. be ready for our pics. They were going to give those to us at the end. They sent us in the back to put our stuff in lockers and get outfitted for our safari parade!!

Here we are with 1 of the families that rode in the parade. I think they were from somewhere in England. Not quite sure. I know they had an accent.. which I love!

How cute are the outfits?? I wish they would've let us keep the vests! lol
