Happy Monday! (not really...more like sleepy I wish it was sunday...monday) Hope you all had a good weekend. I think I have recovered from my really made week yesterday...tho not much has been solved on the money front...We may have to cut back on the honeymoon slightly...which really upsets both of us. I am very confused by the whole Disney Registry thing....Now I knew what is was when we did it....but a registry is usually for the wedding....and the honeymoon is usually right after the wedding....HOW are you suppose to use the Registry to pay for the honeymoon if it has to be paid in full 2 months before!!!?!!? It really upsets me because we have to magically come up with money....and cut corners to make it work...when we could probably have everything we wanted with the money we get at the wedding......sighhhh

so here are the things (in order) of what we have to cut if we have to cut...

-Club Level (DF is SO upset about this he just pouts everytime I mention it)
-Wildlife discovery excursion (because of we aren't club we can't do this)
-Dolphin's In depth (this is the thing that upsets me the MOST...its on my top things to do ever)

So thats it for the disappointing news

I have sent the picture to my venue....still waiting for a reply so fingers crossed!

We have ordered these from ebay....we got a good deal on them and she engraves them for free! so we are very excited to see them

Also we bought pins in bulk for trading....we have never been much for trading but thought it would be fun! so I will see what I get and the ones I don't like I will trade!

We need to buy candy for the buffet soon so I will post what we pick.

My mom found a white basket in my grandma's house that she says will be perfect for the flower girl...so one thing check off the list!

I think we are going with this necklace for the BM's. MY mom thinks it looks fancier

Today I am shipping out the first batch of invites to our UK guests! Feels good to send them out!

I randomly ordered shoes off DSW....I can't get a picture of them because they are on clearance...but they are taking FOREVER to get here....makes me really annoyed. (I don't have good luck with shoes do I?!)

are they too frilly?

I don't have much other news...schools starts this week which always makes me nervous...I didn't get half the stuff I wanted to get done this break....which really bugs me. DF is also a little upset at my schedule because we only have 2 nights together and one day....which isn't exactly my fault but it does suck....but money is tight and I need to work and go to school. It hasn't even started and I am already tired from the thought.

I think me and DF need to plan a day trip somewhere to chill us both out....that usually helps.

I really hope the girls will like the necklaces...I think they are so pretty and different.

I know...its really annoying and upsetting..but what are we going to do...Have no fear. its the wildlife excursion that needs to be club level not dolphins! that was a typo! I will be so upset if we have to get rid of that. but DF won't be he is afraid of water and afraid to do it anyway! but I still want to sooooo badly.

I'm sorry you have to cut some things, that must be so disappointing, but I really think that you will have an awesome time still. We've never done any of those things on previous Disney trips and have always had a blast. I can totally understand the money stress so I would say it's better to cut things than to have to worry about the money later.

If you're going to do a DP, club level won't really be necessary since you'll have your meals included. It is nice to be able to have them make the ADR's but I think they've already done that for you and it's not like they cancel them or anything. WL is still a really beautiful resort and I think you will still have a great time.

That private safari would have been cool, but we've always been happy with just going on the regular ride and you could always go animal watching at AKL (which is free!)

I think the shoes are really cute. I like the necklaces too, I think that was my favorite of the choices. And it's great that you were able to find a basket for the FG. It's so silly to have to spend money on something like that even if it wouldn't be very much money.

Things will start to look up soon. A day trip is a great idea or even something simple like a pizza party or something like that will help take your mind off things and let you and DF spend some quality time together.

Funny thing is 90% of tours and stuff you have to pay in full….its really annoying me…that’s why we currently are on a platinum plan so that we can save the tours we wanted to book….but the second we switch back we have to pay….everything is due by April 24..

Well…we know we will get enough to cover the honeymoon..its just that we need to pay it upfront….so its really the worry of money now…but whatever. We had a blast last time and did nothing but parks….we just wanted to try a bunch of new stuff and it seems like its not going to work out. This might also be the only time….we might be in the UK soon enough and then its only Disneyland Paris for us 

I agree….I have thought club level was more then we needed but DF was pushing for it and wasn’t letting up. When I explained the problems we would be facing….no club level or no honeymoon….he started to understand! Haha…men. They did already book everything for us….which makes me feel bad but…oh well…PLUS they said to look at the lake it was an upgrade? Which is total news to me because they told me no problem before. So we could go regular and get a better view? I need to call and find out the exact price difference is….though I feel a little silly asking for that when we are on platinum hahaha.

Oh yay I’m glad you like the necklace. I sent my mom the pictures like 3 months ago….and she JUST answered me. She also kept asking why I couldn’t get like silver necklaces…I hate explaining to her why I don’t want typical wedding stuff….ya know?

Yeah…I agree we need a break from “reality” we are both in such moods lately….it sucks because it has nothing to do with “us” its just outside stuff.

Me too! I am very excited to get them. I love that they come with free engraving! I clearly am kind of girly if I choose them I didn't know if I was over doing it! I decided to order them and the DSW shoes came yesterday so I will post both when I get them and get your opinions.

When I checked with our club level (which I feel bad about all their help and now I am probably getting rid of them!!!) They said we had to pay for the carriage ride, Keys to the kingdom, dolphins in depth, wildlife excersion..and any others aren't coming to mind...its a good amount of money on top of everything else. I don't think its a big deal about club level (I didn't even want it!) but DF was driving me nuts about it!!! I think he has calmed about it tho.

Hey I just had a question....when do you think invites should go out? We want RSVPs by May 6. I sent the international ones out on monday but....what about everyone else? I was think first week in March? What does everyone think?

Also does anyone know where I can get a "Happily Ever After" Iron on?

March is fine. You are suppose to send out the invitations 2 months prior to the wedding with a 6 week period to RSVP. So early march is perfect.

I have been looking for earrings to go with my necklace. Are these too simple? I thought they would go well because I will have the sparkly plugs, and I think I need something kind of hangy because my hair is long and will be down.

Thanks hun! They came yesterday I am so in love with them. I will try and post pics with our engravings (tho..I don't think they show up too well) I'm glad you think the earrings will work! I am going to order them soon. The lady is going to make them with a slightly smaller pearl (the size of the small one on the necklace) so they look more delicate!

Good Morning ladies.

So I am on a first dance song kick. Our Song is "I'll Be Seeing You" but our friend is singing it for us. I want to be able to enjoy it so I don't want it to be our first dance. So the choice is have her sing a different song...or have a different first dance song. SO I have been searching. DF is not good with helping find stuff...so I am searching and then I have to sell him on it hahaha

Now we like non traditional music....so at first I was thinking just another one of our songs...but I really like the idea of a Frank Sinatra song (and wow there are SO many to choose from) We got engaged on Frank Sinatra Drive in Hoboken, NJ so he does have meaning to us. SO here are some songs I have been thinking

I am going to try and talk my mom out of how many different kinds. she has 7 jars now and it will be so expensive!!! so I am thinking 5. 2 yellow, 2 blue and one white. But here all all the ones I was thinking....Has anyone done a candy buffet? How many lbs usually go in one of those jars. I can't picture how much candy is a lb

First - Love the candy bar! You picked some great stuff, I like how bright the colors are

Second - The toasting flutes are even cute than I initially thought. I didn't realize those were little Cinderella carriages on the base!! awesome.

Third - I like the first pair more because to me the second pair don't look as "wedding-ish" as the first. I still like them, just not as much.

Oh and GREAT choice with Frank Sinatra. I absolutely love him and want to incorporate at least one Sinatra song in our wedding too....his music is so romantic and classic, makes me feel like I'm in a romance movie! I love "Come Fly With Me"

oooh so many updates!

On the songs, can't really help you there since we still haven't really gone through that, but I would say maybe try dancing to them and see which ones work best for that. I don't think you could really go wrong with Sinatra and especially since it has a special meaning for you both.

5 lbs sounds like a lot but with candy sometimes doesn't end up being very much. People will be scooping it into little boxes or bags I'm guessing? So you might need a little more than you think. I like the rock candy and yellow taffy and the chocolate balls and blue taffy. I think those best match your colors. The butterscotch is more orangey and the peppermints aren't quite the right blue.

I like the first shoes best, they're more dressy and girly.

The toasting flutes are really pretty!
