Good Morning....

moving on from my crazy FMIL...my mom is apparently going to call her...and I hope to tell her this is in NO WAY her wedding. so go away

ANYWAY

DF got his vintage suit yesterday....which I was SO SO nervous about. I measured DF before we ordered it but you never do know...so it is tight in some places a big in others....so we have to go to a tailor. I hope they can take it out a bit. I told DF he should go on a diet to fit into it....which I got a down right NO! hahahaha

So I took some pictures....as I was taking them DF was like...what are these for? Your not like putting them up on any boards are you? Does he even have to ask?

In other news.....DF informed me yesterday that they are closing TOT for a little....and there is no dates!!! I will cry if it is closed when we are there.....it is my FAVE! They could close any other ride...but not my TOT...

I need to get better on my diet....I don't have much time for work outs anymore..because of school and work....but I am still eating good (most of the time..) I have been extremely tired lately..I think I have an iron deficiency or something...(my friend had the same problems) so I have going to start taking iron pills hoping that will fix it!! (of course I forgot to start them this morning!)

I don't have much more to report. Anyone doing anything special for V-day?

Love the vintage suit! Hopefully he can get it to fit properly. Sorry about TOT. I read somewhere that they are doing something special for the summer, as long as bringing back the electric light parade, so hopefully it will be done by June.

Thanks hun. I think that is what DF was reading to me yesterday! Which is great....as long as they fix everything by the time we get there!! He said they are changing the parade, fireworks, CRT (its more princessy now? which is upsetting) and TOT....so everyone has to hope its all done by June 8! They said beginning of June....so lets hope they don't run over!!

I'm glad your mom is going to talk to DF's mom, maybe she can talk some sense into her.

The suit looks great! Lol, that just shows the difference between guys and girls because a girl would totally go on a diet to fit into a dress!

Oh no! TOT is my favorite too! I hope it's open by the time you go, it seems like it would be based on that website. Yeah, I don't know how I feel about all these changes...I like Wishes!

CRT is now a character meal all the time, which makes me sad too, the dinner did have characters too but it was a little different since they weren't there all the time. I'm sure it will still be fun to eat in the castle and most of the meals we've gone to they just stop for a picture and move on.

Be careful with the iron. If you don't have an iron deficiency you don't really want to be taking supplements since too much iron can be dangerous. They can tell with a blood test if you need it or not. I find in the winter I'm just naturally more sluggish and if you're stressed out about things that could make you tired too.

We're not really doing anything special for V-day. Maybe I will make DF a nice dinner. We find that every year we've gone out it's kinda a waste since the restaurants are so crowded and the service ends up being terrible. So we're going to go out sometime after Valentine's day. We're also not doing presents because of the wedding and house and our PS trip...being a grown up is lame!

And sorry about your FMIL. It definitely can be tricky dealing with them. So sorry your fiancee was siding with his mom, but I'm glad to hear your mom is stepping up. Hope it works out. And that little white sundress is adorable!

i am so sorry to hear that your FMIL is being so rude. I hope your mom can talk some sense into her. I just don't understand people! I have learned through this whole process that you need to stay calm and focus on the important happy things. I am telling you everything falls into place. I am living proof of that. I really like the white dress and totally don't think it will be a problem. It is not a wedding dress so you should be kosher. I bought a white sundress originally for my DP but since it was sooooo cold the day and night of my wedding I ended up wearing a white sweater dress. Love th suit for DF also-i am sure it will be able to be altered. TOT is MY FAVORITE ride also and would be so upset if it was not running when i was there. Df would be happy he hates it! hopefully they finish whatever they are doing by your wedding

I am so hoping TOT will be fixed by the time we get there. I will be so so sad. I really wanted to see wishes as well! Just as long as things are up and running when we get there is all i care about at this point.

We really wanted a romantic dinner at CRT which is where i'm wearing my white dress! booooo.

i'm not a big DR person....so I am going by what my friend has told me. I also looked online and most foods that have iron in them I can't or don't eat. so I am thinking thats the problem. I am a vegetarian so I have issues sometimes. If not much changes after a week or so I will see someone.

I don't think me and DF are doing much. I want to go to brunch at my fave restaurant which hopefully won't be more crowded then usual (we figure most people want to go to dinner. Then we may catch a movie. or just sit home. DF never remembers presents for v-day sooooo I don't have to worry about that and we can't afford a lot right now either!

I agree....I need to just ignore everyone else..its hard to not let things bother you....so I am TRYING to get better.
I don't know why I was so worried they would kick me out! hahaha

I donno about her wanting to be the #1 woman in his life..tho I do have some theories! 1. I think that she resents me because DF moved to America to be with me (he completely denies this) she is always guilt tripping him. its really immature. 2. She got married in a court and thinks that what I want it insane and i'm spoiled because I want a real wedding and not a quick one? This is all my theories on her but ya know....She does to a lot to annoy me. I donno DF says its because she lives so far away I have to understand that she will want to see him (which I do) but she says that she doesn't want to spend a lot of time on LI. I'm sorry but our wedding is on LI and you are coming to America for our wedding!!! I don't care what you do on your own time but we told her from the start that this is our wedding and we have lots of guests and are not dropping everything just for her. She has planned a holiday around this (which is FINE) but we are not involved in your "holiday". She is just selfish. Thanks hun! They are updating TOT. Music and special effects I believe. Everything is "suppose" to be finished by beginning of June (which i'm HOPING means second week) along with new fireworks at MK and parade.

Good Morning ladies! I wish I had more to post but I don't...my earrings came in the mail, the lady who made them put them in a HUGE box....it was such a waste but very funny at the same time. I was like what is this huge box and then deep in a bed of peanuts was a small box with my earrings

So I think I am booking my fitting trip for the weekend of May 22....for hair cutting, dress fitting and putting EVERYTHING together that hasn't been done yet. Welcome bags, centerpieces, escort cards......and i'm sure a lot more!

here are things I still need to figure out
-Limos? I can NOT find one thats not over prices or will return my calls...
-Take DF's tux to the tailors
-Table numbers
-put together invites
-programs

so far thats my list. i'm SURE its much bigger....but I can't think right now...

Does TOT stand for Tower of Terror? If it does, then it isn't closed. My fiancee works at Hollywood Studios as a ride mechanic and the only ride that is shurt down right now is The Backlot Tours because they are redoing the Catastrophe Canyon portion of it.

It does. It has been announced that TOT will have some updates in time for summer. It didn't say when it will be closed. so thats why I am worried

Good luck with the Limo! I think some things are just overpriced on LI, I don't really know of any limo companies though or what they normally charged. Have you tried LI weddings.com or something like that, it's a forum like this and you may be able to find posts about limo companies and the usual costs.
