UGH.. that's the bad thing about the AEP in August. its SOOO hot, and sorry to say to the PP but September isn't any better.. Having grown up in Florida.. I can honestly say its miserable! HUMID! BUT, you will still have an awesome time! It's Disney!!! I can't believe its almost time for you guys! I am so excited!

I guess with the same wather here, at least I'm doing something fun in it

You guys are less than 2 weeks out! I can't believe it! I hope time passes as quickly for my trip!

Just found this report. We will be at POP 8/14-19 with my ds3 1/2 and dd12. Maybe Henry and Louie will be pool friends. The conference sounds great! Have fun. This may have been asked but how do you become a TA specializing in Disney? Sounds like a great job!

I'm FINALLY caught up! This will sound bad but I was all the way back on page 5 or 6 -- yikes!!!

BUT the good news is that so far, out of all of my subs, yours is the ONLY one that I've caught up on!!!

All of the plans sound amazing! I still have the print-out of the itinerary for the AEP & will be following along with it & your mobile uploads along the way! I am sooooo extremely thrilled for you girls!!!

I cannot believe it is soooo close now!!!!

I did get mine finally. I had called at about 30 days out, so I knew they should come any day.! I think Brook called after I did, so hers should be coming any day.

I now have to call ME because they don't have my return flight on the ME pass. Since Disney made the flight reservations I would think that they would have that information.

WDW on Facebook posted a free shipping code for the Disney Store. It's for park items. The code is Disneyparksfan & it's over at the end of the day.

I love Disney, but sometimes they are very unorganized.
I'm gonna stay away from the site and pretend I didn't read this. I actually made a purchase today that was a bit costly for this upcoming trip (not from Disney store though). I will post it once it arrives.

Brook, I have looked at a couple of weather sites. One showed a 10 day forcast, so not my dates yet, but straight rain, the other showed 15 days, which included my days, about all rain or thunder stomrms, .... of course my 1st 2 days say rain, but both were uninamous in temps....90's!

That's what we have been having here too...yuck!

But all well--I'd rather be sweating in Florida!

I use Evernote for lots of my planning and I make my Vacation Planner (with all the important numbers, day-to-day plans, etc) into a PDF and put that in Evernote as well so I can access it easily.

While I'm on the trip I just use the Notes app that comes with the iPhone for TR note taking.

Claire wants to start packing today for her trip to Grandmas, so I guess we'll get that started. She actually wants me to be packed too so it makes it closer to when I leave. LOL! I told her I am still wearing those clothes yet, but I did actually throw 3 t-shirts into the suitcase yesterday...and some underwear! Spirit only allows 40 lbs, so I have to be careful how I pack this time around. Last trip we were close to 50 in some of our suitcases on the way home. Actually 1 was about a pound over, but they allowed it through.

I've been that person, pulling a pound of stuff out of the bag on the floor of the airport and shoving it into the carry-ons.

My MIL has a tendency to buy stuff all during the year for the kids (a t-shirt here, a little toy there) and expect me to pack it all up and bring it home from Florida with us. Even though our suitcases are already at capacity.

I've gotten DH to tell her either ship the stuff to us or quit buying it all together, since we don't want to lug it all home.

That is SO me. I have been in the airport with my bags open, pulling things out of here and putting them there...trying to rearrange bags to distribute the weight. I once had a lady come up to me and ask, "What are you selling, Dear?"

I've got a month yet, but I need to get in gear & get my lists finalized. I also need ot start packing as I will be terribly busy this month. We have a major event Labor day weekend & I'm one of the busiest chairmen. On top of that I have to make someone a new gown to wear & get mine finished!

So much to do & so little time to get it done.

Love that Claire is wanting to do her packing. She will have a good time with grandma!
