Today the rest of our group will arrive and we will officially be the "Sweet Sixteen". We will be getting an early start to make the rope drop at DHS. I know my DH and his brother have big plans for this day. I enjoy DHS and I am looking forward to doing some of my favorite attractions and some new things as well.

Shelley's Must Do's
1.TSM (1st time!!!)
2.Muppets 3D I know it is corny but I love it! I am a child of the 80's.
3.Animation Courtyard DH and I really enjoyed drawing characters here. We have done Donald Duck and Tigger.
4.See the parade (maybe catch some Streetmosphere while we are waiting).
5.Watch Hyperspace Hoopla

I would also like to see The Little Mermaid (1st time) and maybe American Idol (another 1st). I would also like to see my nephew Will see Playhouse Disney.

Okay, Shelley and Jen, I am all caught up! Did you order a photopass? (With your group it is probably a great idea.)

Shelley, Love the pics of the cruise! I am surprised you haven't done TSM- try to get a fast pass before you ride. If you are like us, you will enjoy it and want to do it again soon! Muppets is being refurb, so you might even love it more! We caught a 6:00 out of Phila last Feb and arrive at CSR around 10. We were exhausted. It was wonderful waking up at Disney!

Jen, Cute kids! Your driving plan looks great. Your stash for the kids is quite large! I have to purchase some items for my girls (8); I think I will pick up the Hidden Mickey book for them. They aren't into Disney items, and we are driving 17 hours (leaving a 6 pm so driving through the night.) They won't need too many trinkets. I think we will pack a soccer ball. We are going to stop on the way home. The adrenaline will be pumping on the way. Jen, I don't know if you checked out my list: someone posted about window markers and windex wipes and I loved this idea!!!

It sounds like such a fun HS day! I'm sure I don't need to tell you to head over to TSM first thing. It is a madhouse over there! We've been to Sci Fi a couple of times and really enjoyed it too. Especially on a hot day (which I'm sure it will be in June.)

We are going to order a photopass.:) It will be a great deal split between so many people. TSM was on my list last time to. For one reason or another we weren't able to ride it. Hopefully, that won't be the case this time. I am hoping that the Muppet refurb updates the movie a little too. Traveling always makes me so tired so I am glad that we will have a night of sleep before attempting the parks.

I am really looking forward to it.:goodvibes It was a total madhouse the last time we were there which is why we weren't able to ride TSM. It amazed me how quiet Sci Fi was. It is a really nice change from a lot of restaurants.

Epcot
Future World
HPIM0839.jpg

We decided to split Epcot up into two days. Today we will spend our morning focused on Future World. Soarin' is one of my favorite rides. I am sure we will head over to ride/get fast passes first thing. Other favorites include Turtle Talk, Nemo and Friends, Test Track, and The Land. We always explore Mousegears and get sample some Coke products at Club Station Cool. We may eat lunch here. If so, DH and I like Sunshine Seasons. There is also the Electric Umbrella. We may also decide to go back to the resort for our C.S. lunch. We will have time to rest before a busy night. We have ADR's at Chef Mickey's. This was one of our favorites last time. We will head over to MK after to enjoy the parade and Wishes. (Maybe hit some rides too).

I am off to watch Glee!

That sounds like a perfect day:cloud9: If you do Sunshine Seasons for lunch get the Strawberry Shortcake. It is yummy!

Magic Kingdom

Today we visit my favorite park! We are going to the EMH to get all of the rides in that we can. We will hit Fantasyland first to ride as much as we can and grab a few Fastpasses for later. We are going to have lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. This is a first for DH and I. I have read a lot of good reviews especially about the pot roast. The toffee cake looks good for dessert. We will take a break at the resort. That night we have a few options. We could go to Downtown Disney for dinner. We also might be able to have a night with Bryan and Jen touring on our own. (Jen, am I forgetting something else we were doing this night?) I love Wishes and I am looking forward to seeing The Main Street Electrical parade so I would like to see it a few times while we are there. Another thing I want to do and I need to figure out when to fit it in, is mini golf at Winter Summerland. We did this last summer and it was so much fun!

That sounds fun to have an adults night out! I vote for dinner at one of the MK resorts and then head over for the parade and fireworks!

Epcot
World Showcase
100_1660.jpg

We are taking advantage of WS's late opening time to sleep in a little and do some resort touring. On our trip in 07 we went to the MK resorts. This time we want to explore the Epcot resorts. I am not sure who is going along on our exploring. I know we left this as an open morning for people to rest up because we have a long night planned. After the resort touring we are going to World Showcase. I love looking at all the beautiful buildings and investigating all of the cute shops. I am sure Jen will touch on this but I think they will also be doing some Kim Possible missions. Then it is off to Le Cellier for lunch. I am still amazed that Jen got us an ADR here for 16 people! I am excited to eat here since I have heard so much about it.

After lunch we will continue our WS tour. I am sure there will be some snacking (I want to try the almond pretzel in Norway). We plan to stay to watch Illuminations. We will stake out a good spot and we can all take turns exploring while others hold down the fort. I guess we even could get our CS meal to bring back here to eat. One of my favorites is going to be closed for a refurb (Cantina de San Angel). I guess DH and I will be trying some new things. I love Illuminations and I am looking forward to this night.

Have fun touring the Epcot resorts. Beach Club is our home (but we haven't been there yet.) On our first trip, we rode the boat to HS and couldn't understand why anyone would want to stay at BC.:lmao:

When deciding which DVC location, the Beach Club was a logical choice. We had always had plans to buy a beach condo. When we looked at the properties (online), the BCV spoke to me. I am excited that we are trying AKV, BCV and BWV this summer.

I think an adults night will be very enjoyable! You might feel like you have a private dining room at Le Cellier. It is that small! Cheese soup is delicious!

I have read so many great things about the Beach Club. I can't wait to read your report and see your pictures!:goodvibes

I think when Jen called for our ADR's the CM told her that if we would have had one more person our party would have been too large. I can't wait to try the cheese soup and the pretzel bread.:thumbsup2

Le Cellier is yummy! And I love Tangieriene Cafe in Morroco for CS!

I can't wait to try it! Jen and her husband like the Morroco place. I haven't been there. What do you usually get?

We've only been once, but I had the sliders combo and my DH had the lamb platter. I love Greek food and this reminded me a bit of that! My kids had chicken nuggets and thought they were great.

From the pictures I have seen it did remind me of gyros which I love. We might have to go there.:goodvibes

Downtown Disney
Magic Kingdom
DSC03535.jpg

Today we will start at Downtown Disney. Haley and Ruby our youngest princesses will be given the royal treatment at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. Some of our group will including my DH and DBIL will be going to Disney Quest. The rest of our group will be able to do some shopping and get lunch.
DSC03606.jpg

We enjoy Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express. We will return to our resort to get ready for dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I have read a lot of good reviews about the strawberry soup. The interaction between guests and Lady Tremain and the Step-Sisters is suppose to be great also. After dinner, we can explore as we want. It may be another Wishes/Parade night.

Ok, I'm behind (as usual...). I'm glad you're keeping us going, Shelley - at the rate I'm going, we'd be back for several weeks before I got through the PTR! :rolleyes1

I thought I'd go back and talk about what we want to do most each day (so that I can catch up with Shelley!)

Sunday - DHS

Toy Story Mania!!!

100_1066.jpg

100_1047.jpg

This was a huge hit for us in 2008. Jack talks about it all the time - it's definitely on his top ten list!

Star Wars Weekend Activities!

100_5676.jpg

As crazy a Star Wars fan as DH is, he's not one to stand in line in Disney for star autographs. He'll be happy being there with all the people in costume, hitting the special stores, and just soaking in the Star Wars atmosphere with his kiddos. :lovestruc The morning Star Wars parade is a definite must, though. The hope for us on this day is to do the whole day until Hyperspace Hoopla. That will all kind of depend on Will, though. We have to see how he does. My kids are notorius for not napping like they should at Disney - my older two always fell asleep on the bus on the way to the hotel. The ten minute nap would rejuvinate their little bodies, and napping in the room just wasn't going to happen. So we'll see what the littlest guy does. Worse comes to worst, I'll take him back by myself, get him some rest, and head back in time for Hyperspace Hoopla. We're really looking forward to this - the kids have the previous years' shows memorized from YouTube. Then it will be back to the resort for an early bedtime so that we can make it through Future World in Epcot tomorrow!
