Jay-nee's journal

still on :cloud9: ! I lost another .5 lb at today's WI, so I'm at 154 now. I was looking at some weight charts on a hospital site for obesity this weekend and it states that the ideal weight for someone my height and age should be between 131-144, so I'm shooting for 144 now. I'm VERY comfortable here at 154, but I want some room for error. ;)

I feel GREAT! I still have the jiggles in the upper thighs, belly, and triceps, but I am noticing that things are firming up a little bit. I am very happy about that! :teeth:

I have been so busy with eBay. It's fun, but there is SO much to learn! I'm just hoping that I can clean this house out, so much JUNK!

I love my exercise. The exercise bike is still broken - the tech is a MORON! So now some guy from Mass has to come up to fix, yeah right! What a pain in the A*S! Sorry, but I had to, bike broke on Jan 11th! STUPID!

Well, gotta jet! Hope life is treating everyone well! I'm doing ok these days and I'll take that!

i cant believe the bike is still broken..whatt a pain!!!!

Wow Jay-nee your still losing! Congratulations. I can't believe you are still waiting for that bike to be fixed!

Yes I live quite near Kimball's farm! I haven't been in years, though. I took the map out of my siggie for now, I'll update it soon with my new location. Currently I am just past Hartford :)

I hope you have an awesome weekend! :sunny:

Just a quick note to say "Hi!" I've been kinda in and out lately. Things here have been a mess. Thank God -> husband is out now! Since he lost his job, he has made our lives miserable.

Yesterday, he started playing his money games again, so I was done with that! If you don't have a FT job with benefits, the last thing you should do is squander your paycheck - bills to pay, groceries to buy... This stupid streak of his should have ended at least on the day he lost his job, but no, he wants to see how screwed up he can get his life. drrrr Actually, stupid streaks should not happen if you are married with children. drrrr

But, in the last month, I have gotten back to my normal, positive, strong life and attitude, so no need for that in my life.

Well, I just wanted to fill my peeps in...

I am pretty much OP with eating and exercise too. I've lost another lb too, 1 more lb and I'll have lost 40 lbs total! I really do have to dig some pix out and have the kids take a now photo.

With husband out of the house, eating should always be OP now! :cool1: No wonder I gained all that weight, argh! Well, actually it started with my knee problem, but it probably was more self-esteem than anything - I realize now!

So, HI to everyone. Keep up the GREAT work! ;)

Hi Jay-nee,

I'm glad you are OP and feeling good about it. Sounds like your situation is running its course. :grouphug: and :wizard: to get your through!

Sunny

:grouphug: Jay-nee! Hang in there! You sound really positive about you and that is a great strength to have!

I hope you have a great day! :flower:

Good Morning O Ebay Queen! Hope you have a great day!

Busy, busy, busy...it's the only thing keeping me sane.

DS had a meltdown yesterday...this is catching up to him... :-( He was doing better by the evening. Seems fine now.

DD seems to be doing well at the moment, but I notice that little things send her crying and wanting a hug (not her normal style).

Wish I didn't have to work today, but I'll be out by 1pm. I'd rather be home with them for the next fews days, but a break from me is probably good for them too.

I'm doing remarkably well now, maybe it's temporary, but I'll take it.

Happy Wednesday! ;)

Hi Jay-nee,

The good thing about work is it is routine. Routine can be a major sanity saver in tough times. I hope you all are doing great today :)

Sunny

Hi Jay-nee,

Thanks for the nice post in my journal. I know what you mean about keeping up with the house and yard on top of working and kids! My cleaning standards have sunk to all time lows, but I don't stress over it. My house is small and my yard is pretty small so its not too overwhelming for me. Your kids may have to do more chores than they are used to in order to get you by.

I totally agree about the tank tops! I just keep buying more. I can't wait until the weather is warm enough for them. My shoulders look better than they ever have my entire life. I still have the tummy jiggle and the back of the thighs/butt, but the arms are rock solid :cool1: My latest obsession is push ups. They work the arms, back, shoulders, chest and abs all at the same time. Very effective!

I can't believe you've slipped into the 140s!!!!! :cheer2: That is amazing. You must look awsome! You are an inspiration!

Take care,

Sunny

Hi Jaynee,

I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your family. You are a strong and incredible woman, and your children know that they are loved and now have a stable home. You are doing an incredible job.
Take care,
Beth

Hi WISH friends (especially Jen, Jen, Beth, and Sunny). You guys have really been there for me.

I just took 5 full days off from exercising while my Mom was done and I feel so refreshed and ready to get back to my routine.

I am doing so well. I am happy and satisfied and starting to make some headway on my new life with the kids. Life is good again. I have rough times ahead money wise, but I don't care, I'll do the best I can. It will be okay. If I can get through the next 3-6 months...it will be all good after that! (trying to keep positive here... ;) )

Today I had to dig a trench in my pony's paddock to drain the water. It has rained and rained and rained here off and on for about 2 weeks now. I feel like Noah. :teeth: I also brushed her out, gosh, what a mess. I will brush her again this week, as I just made some headway, but she is just shedding so much!

Yesterday, I had my last 2 goats put to sleep. So sad. The mom was 14 yrs old with severe arthritis and her daughter was 12 yrs old. I only had the daughter put to sleep because she would be LOST without her mom. Goats are not solitary animals at all. I had a long discussion with my mom about this and talked with the vet too. It was hard but best for her. Tough day... But they went peacefully though... Barn seems so empty now. My barn cat misses the goats...she basically lived with them, so now she's hanging around with the pony.

I've been so busy around the house. With DH gone, there is alot to do. I need to mow the grass already, but with all of the rain, I haven't been able to get out there. argh!

I'm at 149 lbs now and I feel really, really good. I am going to work slowly towards 145-ish. Hopefully things will continue to firm up as I move down just a bit more. I am at a pretty good weight now though and I am very happy about that!

Well, better get back to the kids. Gotta work tomorrow, so I need to get my clothes set out and set up my breakfast and lunch too.

Hope everyone is doing well. :flower: :sunny: :flower: :sunny:

BTW, I've been with WISH 5 months now and grabbed my new clippie today. :teeth: So glad I found my way here with you guys... :earsboy:
