Jawa Trading

My boys love trading with the Jawas. They've traded a jingle toy cat ball, a beaded mardi gras necklace, marbles, a shiny keychain, etc. They freaked out over the cat toy, the one went running to the other to show it and they both wanted it. lol. They got in return this last time a sticker sheet, a metal part of something and droid parts. It's definitely fun for the kids!

My daughter traded on two different days in July. They completely ignored shiny Mardi Gras coins she offered. But went bonkers over a novelty advertisement pen with a light on it. They also traded her for some little zorbie figurines. Generally all we got were random droid parts and a plastic trophy. It was fun and I saw one lady giving them a hard time refusing several things they offered to trade but I think they finally found something she accepted.

We were there at the end of July and traded mardi gras beads, karate badges that say words like focus, teamwork, etc, a little plastic silver trophy (maybe you got ours), an empty white out dispenser, a ring from a gum-ball machine, and some other trinkets like that. We got droid parts and a little plastic rattle. Some of our mardi gras beads had alcohol advertisements and they wouldn't accept those. Kids had a blast.

So you are the one that gave the trophy. Actually we were there before you I think. We were there around the 10th. Here he is using the pen he kept going through the coins he refused for some reason.

I know the are supposed to refuse real coins/money. And they can't see all that well. I can't remember what DGD tried to trade one trip but they had to ask their handler if it was ok since it looked close to money, it wasn't and she said it was ok to trade. If they aren't asking their handler and something looks like real money they may just skip it for that reason.

We didn't bring anything to trade last time but my son found some kind of spare trading card he had gotten the day before and they took that and gave him a plastic gem. It was probably not worth the effort but was one of my son's favorite things about our trip.

The little metallic slinky and the pinwheel we got at the dollar store were the best. Shiny and interactive.
