Jawa Trading Ideas

Oooh! I was wearing my Baymax T-shirt (has instructions on it showing "How To Fist-Bump"), and the Jawa was very interested in it so I taught him how to fist-bump. The little guy was very enthusiastic! It was pretty awesom e!

Last Sunday when we were at Launch Bay, neither of the Jawas were trading.

But other days, we traded trading cards, party favor toys, SotMK cards, stuff like that.

They seem to access value in trades, which makes sense. Saw a lady give one a park map and she got back a crumpled napkin ... park maps aren't hard to come by.

Jawas like shiny. My DS traded them giant gold buttons and jingle bells, they loved it and they seemed to spend more time with him. Another great item is gold mardi gras beads. They are cheap and easy to carry around. Think shiny!

This was our experience as well. We traded them a plastic fork (it was our first SWW and we were unprepared, but wanted to get in on the fun) and got back a plastic knife. A shiny gold ballpoint was worth more (but I don't remember what).

I was "hosting" a traveling American girl doll (Think like a Flat Stanley doll, only with American Girl). I took the doll to SWW, and took pictures with all the characters and the doll. When I took pictures with the doll and the jawas, they tried to trade with me for the doll! It was so funny trying to get the doll back - they kept trying to sweeten the deal with all sorts of crazy junk!

So, I'm just curious because I heard that this was happening at Launch Bay. Any stories on Jawas trading with visitors? What are people receiving? What are people giving in exchange? I'd be willing to trade my youngest for an R2 model!

I traded at the movie event Dec 17, and I gave them a pen which they enjoyed clicking, and I got the head from a build a droid toy.

My daughter is there now, and has a bag of stuff to trade - sticker books, shiny jewelry, etc. I hope she texts me about the trades - if she does, I'll share here

I have a bunch of old Antique silver spoons that arnt worth a penny, I'm gonna polish them up and have the kids trade them. Cant get any shinier than that
