January Weight Loss Challenge - We Can Do This!!

Nothing new for me this week. I maintained, which I'll take since the scale was showing a 3lb gain mid-week, TOMs on a visit and I had an unexpectedly big loss last week. I'll weigh again on the 31st for a monthly total.

Hurray I lost 5 more pounds so that puts me at a total loss of 11 pounds for january!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: I went beyone my goal of 10 pounds! I am so excited. This is the first time I have conquered the monthly weight loss challenge thread. I am so excited!!!!!
 
Hi everyone, i joined in the beginning of the month, but haven't been making any posts. My results ...... a staggering 0 pounds lost. According to the scale, but friends and family ( who are in a sense sworn to honesty) say they can see the difference. I can't imagine not losing something because my activity has increased significantly and i was chosing healthier food options. But I won't give up and keep finding opportunities to eat healthier and move more. On a good note... i didn't gain any pounds either. Congratulations to all of you who have lost pounds. I truly am happy for you. : )
 

I have a total of 3/5 for this month. Unlikely to change between now and Thursday. Thanks.

I haven't done such a great job this month, and lost nothing this past week. All three of my kids have had the flu this month, then I got it this weekend. I'm finally fever-free, but still feel pretty crummy:sick: . Honestly, I don't know how I didn't lose weight, since I really wasn't eating for several days, but then my body tends to do that. I get sick and end up either not losing or sometimes I gain. :confused3

Oh well...

Congrats to everyone who met and exceeded their goals. Awesome job to those who had any weight loss!:thumbsup2 It's better than what we started the month with, right?;)
 
WaHOOOO! I am down another two pounds (could be three, but hard to read my stupid dial scale!). I exceeded my goal for the month! I am SO excited.
I will consider this my final weigh in for the month.

PJLLA - 13/12 lbs for January!!
 
Down 6.2. That puts me at 8.2/10. Here's hoping I can get the other 1.8 off by Friday morning!
 
I am down .4 this week, which makes me 6.4/7, I didnt get to my goal of 7 BUT I am super happy with no gains, making good food choices and exercising! I have been religiosuly doing upper body weight training so I can have good arms for my cruise gear for Sept:goodvibes I have a bad knee and plantar fascitis yet I have continuously been doing some kind of cardio.

I look forward to a Feb challenge. My goal is to lose 6 lbs a month until my cruise in Sept so that would be about 48 lbs, I CAN DO THIS, we can ALL DO THIS!!!
 
I wanted to check in to say I did not reach my 18lb weight loss goal for January but - I did lose 12lbs!! :banana: I am happy to have gotten that close and hope to do better next month!
 
I am up .3 this week. My total for the month is 7.3/10. I started out great but had a not so good week last week. On the upside I did much better this week.

Hi all- I was sad on MOnday because I was up 1.6, so I weighed myself again today since it was the last of the month. I was down 3 since Monday! Yeah, so my total for the month is 10lb and my goal was 8. Can't wait to set a February goal! I'd love to be 12 lbs lighter by our trip on 3/29, so maybe I'll set a six pound goal for each month and really try to even do more! I'm 2 pounds away from getting to eat two points less/ day on WW. I think I'll be OK if I eat my activity points.

I did a finaly weigh-in this morning for the month and am down 1 making me 13/10! :dance3: Now to figure out what that Feb goal will be!
 
I did an unofficial weigh in today to see if I made my goal of 7 and..........................................

I DID IT, my I lost 7.8 for the month of Januaray, but again its an unofficial weigh in so we will see what next Wednesday brings for my offical weigh in

I hope to join a Feb Challenge!!!! This is a great motivator
 
I didn't lose the 6 pounds that I wanted to lose, but I did lose 4 pounds in January :) So I'm 4/6 for the month.
 
I was shooting for 10lbs this month but only lost 3lbs. Oh well 3lbs less is a good thing.:) I'm going to try better for the month of Feb.;)
 
We had some great losses this month! I think I have everyone updated, and I will be starting a February thread later in the day.

I didn't make my goal, but some weight loss is better than none, right?:thumbsup2

Some of you with the 12 and 18 pound losses, WOW!:worship: That's huge!

Maybe I should take notes and get some tips.;)
