January no buy

Today should have been a no -buy day, but my tooth started aching a couple days ago. I can't get it pulled until next Wednesday, so I had to spend money on the co-pay for the antibiotic and some pain meds . Grr.

On the plus side, one more day to go and I will have 4 days of not buying lunch at work. This is a very good thing. :-)

A very spendy day here, sort of. I had planned to pay off our Feb. WDW trip, but they closed at 6! I knew the IRUN Disney office wasn't open as late as normal reservations, but I thought I had until 8! Still, for the discounted room/ticket rates, I'll deal with it. I'm not counting this against tomorrow's no buy though as I planned and tried to do it today.

Okay, I finished off the grocery budget for the week at Target today, but we are STOCKED up and shouldn't need to buy much next week, so I'll adjust my spending there.
Also, I earned $15 in bonus Target GC's today with some of my groceries/household goods this week and last. I decided it would be best spent on a $25 Disney GC to apply to our trip, so I spent $10.

I also stopped for a few "drive thru diet" tacos today, and that was $4.53. Not bad for the first "eating out" for the week.

I spent about $12 on things from the Target toy clearance/holiday section for Easter baskets.

Now the challenge - my kids will be home all weekend...and having a no-buy Saturday & Sunday may be impossible. :/

Took DD to get some jeans. 3 pair for $23.66. Stopped at Barnes & Noble to pick up a calendar. I'm used to seeing one hanging on the kitchen wall and it was driving me absolutely crazy looking over at the spot on the wall and nothing was there!

I really, really did not want to cook tonight. If I had remembered that I was blowing a no buy by going out to dinner, I might have just cooked instead! I guess it's going to take me a bit to get back into the no buy habit.

Are you doing the Princess?

I am battling a cold today, so I am not going anywhere.

Awww, feel better!

Today I stayed home and started deep cleaning house for DH's arrival home from Afghanistan. Probably too early, but it makes it seem like he's almost home.

Yay for homecomings! :cheer2:

Where'sPiglet, I am doing the Princess! I'm very nervous as it's my first race and I'm not really a runner, but I've been using the Jeff Galloway training and am right on track. My sister and cousin (both of whom are runners to begin with) are running with me, and we have 17 people coming to cheer us on, so I'm really excited about that!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :)
