Hello,
30 minutes today on the Nordic Track, for 2.1 miles, 227 calories burned. I also did 35 sit ups. Ooh, it felt good and I did not want to stop.

That puts me at 285/900 for january.
 
I am in. A few days late but hey its better late than never. I am in for 900 for january and 10,000 for the whole year. I feel this is the year to feel good about myself in general. Look foward to getting to know everyone.
 

Veronica, I hope your holiday was great. It's hard to believe it's a new year. After my miserable December exercise showing I was hesitant to commit for January. I did manage to exercise one day in the new year on our trip but I was eating at the same time. I don't think that should count. I am ready to get started with this and commit to 660 minutes this month. This evening I got started and am now

60/660

30 minutes this morning bringing me to 318/1500
 
Did very little over this weekend, but did a 30 minute workout this morning so all told I'm not 110/600.

To all the "newbies" we are glad to have you along.

I will try to update again on Tues or Weds and will do an update late Thursday. I will be on vacation from Fri am until Mon PM, so I probably won't update again until Tues or Weds next week. I am going on a short cruise with DH, and am going to try to get in plenty of exercise while gone.

I did some sporatic exercise today...so far anyways I hope to hit the gym tonight for at least another hour on either the bike or treadmill
I played basketball for an hour today I did 30 minutes of dancing w/ the stars DDR I did some belly dancing and some weight exercises.. ( i found a tv channel FitTV that has exercise shows on it but I dont like the commercials but its still good cause ive actually been doing some of them not just sitting watching them :cool1: )

I am at 255/1000

Jill-do you have Time Warner cable? They also have Exercise on Demand channel. You can choose the exercise video to do NO COMMERCIALS!!! They have things like WATP, The Firm, yoga, pilates, TaeBo, everything. AND ITS FREE!!! :banana: I am going to throw a few of those in this week since I will be missing gym time due to going away.
 
I'm in again, just a little late posting but I did do 3 days of cardio last week for 30 minutes. Since I was soooo close to goal last month and didn't make it, I have a feeling I will make goal this time and hopefully more. Put me down for 1200 so my total so far is:

Tent Camping Mom 90/1200

I'll try for the 15500 too. If my calculations are correct (they rarely are), that should be about an hour workout a day for about 5 days a week.

So, I should show:

Another 45 minutes on Sat. and snuck in a quick walk 15 min. on Sun. for at new total of 130/800.
