January 4-11 Cruise???

Hey everyone...
I have a question about doing the 7 Day Western Cruise in January. I am going to be participating in the Walt Disney World College Program from August-January. I am so excited, but that's a whole other topic for a different board!! Anyway, I have to be moved out by January 3 and my family will be down there to help me. We are considering going on the January 4-11 cruise but are afraid that we won't have anywhere to keep all of my stuff. I will most likely have a computer, TV, clothes, and many other valuable items and would be afraid to leave them parked in a car for a week. Does anyone have any suggestions of how this could work???

Also, is January a good time to cruise? How is the weather? I can't wait to hear from everyone once you go on the Western cruise. I'm sure that will also answer a lot of my questions. Guess I'll just have to wait!!

Could you ship your valuable stuff home? Or, maybe rent one of those storage spaces for a week while you are on the ship. The cruise is alot of fun...weather in January could be chilly at Port Canaveral and possibly Key West, but the other island should all be pretty warm.
