Everyone pray for DD#2. She is trying to cut her 2nd tooth and I'm thinking may have gotten an ear infection or something in the process. It has been a longggg couple of days. I'm hoping that she doesn't get any more after this one until after the cruise! Also, I'm so thankful that we all have colds now...they should all be gone by the 29th!

Hopefully she will be ok. Good thing your not flying or her poor little ears would be terrible. Maybe you should get the checked before you go. My dd got an ear infection the last day of the cruise. Flying home was terrible for her and hard on me because I couldn't do anything.

I am happy to say that I am about 75% packed. It feels so good...now for the little things!

Me too!!! Actually I think I am more like 90% cuz I started to put things in and couldnt stop.... I have my little list with the rest of the stuff to go in..

Both Dexter and Meredith have been sick this past week--I kept saying get it out of your system, it has to be gone before 2 weeks I think I'm going to pick up a pack of those pedialyte mixers--kind of like the water flavor packets but pedialyte. They can fit into a bag easily and help the kiddos out in case of dehydration issues on the cruise.

Poor thing! Hopefully she will be all better for the trip.
I definitely feel for you. Both of my sons got the flu virus- influenza B. They starting running fevers on Tuesday, and today is the first day that they are fever free. My 5-year old missed a full week of school. I am glad that he is only in Kindergarten and it is half-day. Needless to say, we will not be skipping the flu shot again next year. It has not been a fun week!
I am so glad that they were sick now and not for the cruise. It would have been absolutely horrible.

I'm thinking about sending a box with my FE stuff in it ahead of time to the ship. Has anyone done this before? We ended up deciding to fly instead of drive and thought it might be cheaper than the checked luggage fee.

Kids will all be dressed in full costumes (even the baby!!)

Adults - no. Except my in-laws. They went out and bought full pirate costumes too to surprise the kids.

Maybe going to leave the kids on the ship with in-laws and head off on our own to St Johns. Kids will probably just hang out on the ship and maybe head to the butterfly house. Unless everyone has tons of energy then we will head to a beach on St. Thomas

My DD8 (Avery) has been ill all day - running a high fever. Had to miss Soccer and Dance classes. I agree with all the other parents with sick kids - do it now as none of you are allowed to be ill on the ship!!!
