January 24, 2013 3-Night Bahamian Cruise on Disney Dream

Has anyone read on the boards that the reason the cruise isn't showing anymore is because this is a CM discounted cruise? I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing. Also, I kind of wish I would have gotten a VGT rate instead of the OGT. I am afraid of getting a bad room now and it seems like the VGT always is extremely good.

This is probably a really good thing... it was also heavily discounted when I booked, so it is obvious it is an unpopular week.

I hadnt heard about it being a CM discounted cruise..wonder why this week???

I actually spoke with 2 cast members and this is not a cast member cruise!! Just sold out as far as we can tell!!

:thumbsup2either way, I am on it and going on vacation and a cruise!:thumbsup2

Just can't wait! I can't stop thinking about this time two weeks from now :yay: Hope everyone is doing well. I have the next 3 nights off so lots of list making, finishing up our FE gifts and planning clothes!!! What ever will we do with all our free time after we get back???:(

Plan the next Disney trip;)

We leave 2 weeks from today!! Holy cow. So much to do! Need to start packing... the 10 day forecast for Nassau and Orlando look good so far, but we need to get closer before I pack any real heavy clothes. 9 more working days - yahoo!!!
Word of advice for the newbie's - don't skip the shows. On our last cruise we skipped the show the first night, can't even remember why at this point, guess we were just checking out the ship. That was a 4 night cruise, so we caught the other 3 and they were AWESOME. We'll catch the show we missed this time around.

I suppose I should spend my next 9 working days actually working and not trolling around Disney sites.... LOL - can't help myself. :surfweb:

Haha that's too funny! I only have 7 more shifts to go;-). Thanks for the advice on the shows. I'm really looking forward to them. Anything else I need to know? Even packing advice would be good. We have never been on a cruise before so we are truly "greenhorns". I'm just starting to put together packing list for the cruise and Disney. So much to remember lol!

My 17 month old woke up with a cold and had a hard time sleeping the night! Seems like a lot of colds going around. I am wondering if it'll be ok if he and I stay in the house until then. Getting super excited and still waiting for our IGT of course.

Anyone doing Disney in advance? I'm hoping the weather there is good.

TWO WEEK and we leave!:thumbsup2

Only 9 more working days! :dance3:

Misslissa - we are going to WDW after the Dream.

The time went so fast! I started packing this afternoon and it was so nice to be getting some of the "warm weather" clothes out of the closet and drawers!

I had to laugh about the "should be spending the next 9 working days working" comment because while I was running errands today, my DH texted me from work and he was cruising the web, checking out pictures of the boat and curent CC temperatures. This from the boy who didn't even know which ship he was sailing on last night or even where he was going :rotfl:

Very anxious to be cruising and to meet all of you!

Thanks for the tip! :goodvibes

We're flying in on Tuesday and just doing MK Wednesday morning and Epcot Wednesday night. :cool1:

Me too! :thumbsup2

Hi everyone. We are leaving a week from tomorrow! Started packing. My son has grown so much that none of his swim suits fit him and it is not easy finding swimsuits here right now. I already have my secret bag packed with FE's and pirate costumes.
We will have 4 days in Tampa before the cruise, while by husband is at his conference, my son and I will be doing our own thing. I have been checking out some low key things to do like the aquarium or if the weather cooperates, maybe a beach day. I really don't care what we do, just can't wait to feel the warm sun again! So excited and hoping to get my cabin assignment before we leave.

My wife, my 3 year old son, and myself are going on our first ever Disney cruise. After being a Disney fanatic for years (I live about 15 minutes from the Florida parks) we've decided to finally go!

only 8 work days..:)

getting my door signs printed and ready to go...watched the stateroom slide show on DCL site..:woohoo: getting ready now..:hyper:
