Hello Everyone, Im Jennifer this will be my first 3 day cruise. I booked this cruise on December 27th LOL better late than never. A friend of mine was going and suggested I go too, well when I looked outside and saw 12" of snow on the ground and more still falling I couldn't book it fast enough. This will be my 5th Cruise, First cruise without My family (DD 12 and Hubby 40). I enjoy Bingo, trivia, and the shows. I am traveling with a group of three other people, but I am always happy to meet new Disney Friends . So if anyone is interested in meeting up for Bingo, or needs a Trivia partner please let me know. 21 Days!!

No...no room assignment yet. Mine was a VGT so I'm not expecting anything until at least 1/13. Who knows...maybe we won't know until we get to the ship

Is it really booked up? I was hoping it would be a little empty, but oh well. Last trip we took on the Dream was during Winter Break in Feb. 2011 (school break here in the NE anyway) and the ship was packed to the gills, but honestly, it made no difference. We did everything we wanted to do, didn't wait on long lines, I just remember the aquaduck line being a little long from time to time. Since we all lost our Winter break due to SuperStorm Sandy, that would probably be a great time to go this year!

I looked up the post where on December 26, conan979 said they got their cabin number for VGT on our cruise. They got cabin number 8122 4a.I don't understand why some would have their room assignment and others don't. We are waiting on an OGT. I am hoping for monday, since it will be 17 days out.

I noticed that too. Have you ever been to Atlantis in the winter? How was it?

I'm not sure that it is booked up, but it is not available to book anymore on the DisneyCruise.com site. It is weird 'cause this was one of the lowest priced times this winter to cruise, you'd think they'd do that for the emptier ships. Last time I checked availability, all the verandahs were completely booked up. There were a handful of O and I ones left, it is weird that you haven't received your VGT yet! But, who knows, they really do work in mysterious ways.

And yes, we traveled to Atlantis last year for a week in January. It was incredible. I highly recommend it. But, personally, not as a day thing, it is far too expensive. It is great to stay as a guest... then everything like the waterpark is 'free'. If you have any questions, let me know. We hope to go back many more times in the future!

For those waiting on gty rooms, the last time we sailed gty I called DCL several times to check on assignments. They were able to tell me my room number before I ever received anything in the mail. It also then showed up online when I checked our reservation. Hope you hear soon!

Checking online is the most up to date! And, nothing there yet. I always only go GTY... never gotten an upgrade but it could all change this time

When we went on the Hawaii cruise, many OGT and GTY folks didnt hear until the last minute..like we were leaving last minute....

Just had to share. Today I was getting my FE's together and my son said, "Mom, why are you getting that stuff together so early? Our cruise isn't for another 3 months." Ha ha, little does he know.

I saw it was mostly booked too, must be everyone taking advantage of the price! I hope this means some pixy dust for those of us with GT rooms! Im to the point I'm checking back regularly (every 1 to 2 days) to see if it was updated. Even on a Sunday!! 2 1/2 weeks to go!

Probably need to get some last minute stuff done, like book car from airport to ship!

Has anyone read on the boards that the reason the cruise isn't showing anymore is because this is a CM discounted cruise? I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing. Also, I kind of wish I would have gotten a VGT rate instead of the OGT. I am afraid of getting a bad room now and it seems like the VGT always is extremely good.
